Watching my kid get strangled is my favourite part of the week. Haha. But in all seriousness this place is incredible. My kid's confidence in himself, both mind and body has soared since attending classes here. Both coaches are truly amazing.

Great gym with an awesome atmosphere. The coaches are knowledgeable, welcoming, and push you to improve every session. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to train jiu jitsu.

Life-changing. If you're considering BJJ this is the place to go. Great coaches, excellent facilities and a solid bunch of real good men and women. It's intimidating taking up a sport like this at 44, and for my son at 13 to be rolling with men. But North South has not just been more welcoming than intimidating, but a source of good vibes and intense distraction through a bumpy year - exactly what I needed on all levels. A real savior through personal challenges, which the leaders strive for it to be. Update - still going 2 years later and it's only gotten better. Get along. Its worth it.

My two girls (9+5 years old) and I train at NorthSouth. All of us are new to martial arts in the last year, but we've felt very welcome and have learned a lot from the great coaches and other club members. It's a friendly environment where everyone wants to see each other progress. There's a good mix of people who are doing it just for fun and those who compete. I highly recommend getting in touch with the coaches and having a trial.

We couldn’t recommend Northsouth jiu jitsu enough. The coaches are absolutely amazing with the kids and have such a great ability to work with each child based on their individual needs, personalities, and learning styles. They know exactly how to motivate them, build their confidence, and keep them engaged throughout every class. What we love most is that it’s about so much more than just learning martial arts. The coaches also place a strong focus on mindset, resilience, discipline, and helping the kids understand how mental wellbeing affects physical performance. They teach valuable life skills that go far beyond the mats. Our kids have grown so much in confidence, focus, and self-belief since starting here, and it’s clear the coaches genuinely care about every child’s development. Such an incredible, supportive environment for kids to learn and thrive.

This is the best Jiu-Jitsu gym you will ever train at! With an extremely supportive and patient coaching team, state of the art mats, and overall an incredible environment where you are welcomed like family from the moment you walk in the door. The coaches work with you and answer any questions you may have during training sessions, and are reassuring which makes training more motivating. All members at the gym will go at your pace if you are new, injured, or ect. Amazing experience!

Highly recommend!! Sometimes it’s hard to describe how a training space is, but for northsouth it’s easy. It’s a real vibe. Filled with positivity, kindness, inclusiveness and fun. This is installed from our amazing coaches bringing a different culture and energy to everyone who comes in! The facility is clean, white mats are crisp! The big windows beam natural light bringing bright energy! Come down check it out ⬆️⬇️☯️

I’ve been training here for a while now and honestly couldn’t ask for a better gym. The coaches are super knowledgeable and take the time to help everyone improve, whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced. The environment is really welcoming and supportive—everyone pushes each other but in a positive way.

I’ve trained at NorthSouth for a while now and couldn't speak more highly of the gym. The community in most gyms I have trained at is always great, however, there is something special about training here. Everyone is welcoming and wants to see each other improve. Whether you’re brand new or have been training for years, you feel at home right away. The level of coaching is outstanding. The instructors are highly skilled and clearly passionate about what they do. They break things down in a way that actually makes sense and they take the time to walk around and answer any problems I am dealing with in certain positions/techniques. You can tell there’s a real care for the students and the culture that’s been built. It’s a place where people train hard but enjoy it at the same time. If you’re thinking about starting jiu jitsu or looking for a new gym, this is a great place to be and the atmosphere is next level. Thanks Ben & Zach for the environment you've created, and all the other coaches and members.
