Dropped in for the open mat whilst traveling through New Zealand. Axis is a great, spacious and clean gym. The training partners and coaches are friendly and skilled. I would definitely recommend going to this gym if you are interested in bjj or already have experience!

I dropped in here a couple of weeks ago on vacation. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The class was interesting and helpful and got some good rolls in after!

I visited New Zealand and came back from a fun training session! It was fun because even foreigners approached me in a friendly manner! I've moved into a building behind my current location, so please refer to it when you go to train! I visited New Zealand and came back from a fun training session! A great place to roll and learn. Welcoming and kind crew. I visited a lunchtime session and it was perfect for a mid-day short Jits session. Clean facilities. They are moving just around the corner, so they may not look exactly like my photos, but definitely check them out!

Axis BJJ have an awesome team of instructors and all the members are extremely friendly. I was super nervous going into my first trial class but everyone was so welcoming. Now I have about 4-5 months of experience training BJJ and have been a member at Axis since I started My BJJ journey. If you’re wanting to join a gym or start your BJJ journey would highly recommend This gym.
