I love training here and would highly recommend to anyone interested in trying out Brazilian Jiu Jitsu!

The place is beautiful, and the instructors are great! Kind, but stern when they need to be. They are instilling discipline in my son and teaching him the necessary skills so that he is able to defend himself, all while getting a killer workout! Highly recommend this place

Great Jiu-jitsu school! Coach Branko is an excellent coach along with each and every other BJJ coach they have. (Would love to name them all!) Professional, disciplined, and consistent. Highly recommend!
Branko is a fantastic coach and makes a place for everyone at his school. He sets a great tone too - everyone there is so nice. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to train at Northside.

Northside BJJ is a phenomenal place to train! Branko and the other instructors are top notch. BJJ can be intimidating, especially for a female, but Northside BJJ could not have been a more welcoming group of people. Everyone is very supportive and egos are checked at the door. There’s a good mix of training partners and higher belts are always willing to help you get better. Whether you’re looking to compete, get in shape, learn self defense or just train for fun this is the spot!

If you’re looking to start your journey in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. North Side is the place to go, when I first started here I was nervous. But Professor Branko and the staff are very knowledgeable and make you feel welcomed. All the higher belts are always willing to help you out and answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommended checking Northside out.
Northside BJJ is the place to train in Chicago if you want to get into the sport. Coach Branko Milosevic and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and always push students to be the best they can be. Branko has created a culture of respect and camaraderie where you will always feel supported in reaching your BJJ goals. The school is also part of an impressive lineage that includes 8x world champion Robson Moura. I’m sure there are other great BJJ schools in town, but this one is the best.

Very positive & supportive culture here; beginners are welcomed and there are no egos to make one feel inferior. The instructor is very encouraging and great at making you feel good about making progress. I'd recommend checking it out for anyone curious about BJJ.

Professor Branko’s programs are world class. I’m enrolled in his adult program and I’ve always felt welcome and respected. All of my children are enrolled in his kids program, and I’ve watched each of them become more confident and disciplined in all aspects of their lives. Branko is at every local competition cornering for his team. I was at a tournament where he lost his voice because he was shouting from 8am until 10pm for his students. Northside BJJ changed my life , if you’ve ever considered trying jiu jitsu but felt apprehensive this is the place to try. You’ll always feel welcome, you’ll never feel judged. All ages , and all bodies are welcome here.
Northside bjj was the best investment i made for myself, helped me with confidence and just being more comfortable talking with others in general. Branko the head instructor is an incredible person and amazing teacher. I would recommend Northside to anyone the value you get from attending classes is top notch especially when it comes down to survival and self defense.

I love training at Northside. I’ve been a student of Branko’s for over 10 years, and no words can do justice to describe the level of attention and professionalism that he exhibits. I highly recommend Northside (and Branko) to anyone considering martial arts training. It’s a wonderful family environment, and I’m happy to say my both of my daughters now train here too. Best place to train. No ego on the mats. Nobody is judged. People from all types of backgrounds. Friendly and chill environment. People look intimidating, but they're actually some of the friendliest people. Go at your own pace. Mix of strong competitors, hobbyists, and people who just want to get fit.

Many thanks to Branko, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor, for conducting these classes, especially for kids. Ever since our son started attending the classes his confidence grew and now he's much more comfortable around the other kids in the neighborhood and most importantly around older and bigger kids in school. Best choice I've made was walking in the doors of this gym. Branko is an amazing instructor with years of experience from Robson Moura.
It's been an awesome journey so far, been training there for 2 years and the team has grown a lot since then!
Want to get into shape and learn how to defend yourself, just step walk through the doors and Branko will take care of the rest!

I have been taking my 8 year old son here for two months, and we love it. Bronco, the owner, is amazing with kids. Jui Jitsu has lots of contact, like wrestling, and the boys are ready to eat then go to bed, after a good practice. There is also a nice blend of fun, as they sometimes play soccer to warm up....its a brazilian martial art, so that makes sense. Great for adults too!

Truly a great group of guys! Me and two of my buddy's took a road trip to Chicago last minute. We stopped by the school unannounced looking to train and the instructor was happy to have us. I have been training 6 months and never trained anywhere else. So, I was a little apprehensive to just walk into a random school. These guys are great, awesome school and TOUGH ROLLS! Thanks for making us feel welcome North Side! OSSS!

For count less years I have joined many gyms to get fit, lose weight and get stronger. I have been on a roller coaster of weight gains and loses, along with time away not improving at all. Then I walked into Northside BJJ and seen my 8 year old son training. I decided to stay for the adult classes to give it a shot. That was in May '15. I am still training and feel more accomplished, energized, focused, humbled, lighter just to name a few things I am feeling since training at Northside BJJ. Branko is an excellent instructor for kids and adult classes. His passion, knowledge and encouragement keeps everyone motivated even when your completely exhausted. And for the group, there is an instant comradery that will make any new comer feel completely welcomed with an encouragement to have them come back. I am humbled to be training at Northside BJJ and honored to have Branko as the instructor for my son and myself.

Master Branko Milosevic and the team at North Side BJJ have created something special with this school. The atmosphere is open and accepting; the training is a rewarding endeavor. There is depth in the variety of techniques taught and room for practitioners of all skill levels to learn and improve. Northside has infected me with a passion for jiu jitsu. I would recommend to anyone interested in the martial art, that they try a class at this school.

Deceptive. Promises to freeze account only to charge throughout the freeze. A lot of finger pointing as to why i can't be refunded. In the end i walked away with $600 taken from me.
