Professor Pavel is a world class BJJ practitioner. He brings lot of experience to the table. He emphasizes on every small details. He teaches you the submission and how to counter the submission. He teaches ans still competes at the high level, that makes him aware of all the new moves and new techniques applied at a 100 percent rolling situation. As a person, Professor Pavel is very humble and very approachable. He is rolling with his students and he corrects your mistake right away as it's happening. That is very important in learning the craft faster.

This is a great place to practice Brazilian jiu jitsu, I know Professor Pavel personally. He explains the technique very well and pays attention to the details. A friendly atmosphere in the classroom, I recommend it for all ages.

North Jiujitsu Academy is a solid place to train. Pavel runs the classes and does a great job. His instruction is clear, detailed, and practical. He focuses on making sure everyone understands the techniques and applies them properly, without overcomplicating things. You can tell Pavel knows his stuff and has put a lot of time into both training and teaching. He keeps the classes structured but not overly strict, and there’s a good balance between drilling, learning, and rolling. The vibe at the gym is respectful and no-nonsense. If you're serious about improving and want good instruction in a clean, focused environment, this place is worth checking out.

Pavel, the head instructor, is absolutely top-tier. His teaching style is clear, technical, and incredibly effective. He has a deep understanding of the art and breaks down even the most complex movements in a way that’s easy to understand, whether you're a beginner or more advanced. The atmosphere at North Jiujitsu is also really welcoming. There’s a strong sense of community and mutual respect on the mats, which makes it an awesome place to train. If you’re looking for a place to learn real, high-quality jiujitsu with an incredible coach, I can’t recommend North Jiujitsu Academy and Professor Pavel enough.
