  I can't say enough great things about North Coast Jiu-Jitsu in Northfield, OH! Our experience started with a 20-minute phone conversation with the owner, who took the time to thoroughly explain the structure and programming for the kids’ classes. He was incredibly easy to talk to and answered all of our questions, making us feel confident about enrolling our children. Our kids have been attending for three months now, and they absolutely love it! The program is held two days a week, and the coaches strike the perfect balance of keeping the environment fun while still holding high expectations for the students. We've seen tremendous growth in our kids, both in terms of their skills and confidence. The supportive and engaging atmosphere at North Coast Jiu-Jitsu makes it a fantastic place for any child to learn and grow. Highly recommend!

  I love this place! The instructors provide excellent details and will work with you 1-on-1 during open mat. The members are great partners and can go at your pace, whether you're a white belt or black belt. The environment is super friendly to brand new members, men and women. The kids classes are well-run and a fun way to build confidence in your child. The gym is constantly improving by tweaking classes based on member feedback (striking classes, positional sparring classes). The schedule is second-to-none with classes every day (during the day and in the evening). If you are considering starting or are a seasoned-vet, this is the place for you!

  Dropped in for a class while in town. Coach Paul was quick to respond to my inquiry and very welcoming. The gym has such a friendly culture and their focus on fundamentals is excellent. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

  Came in from out of town to get some training in and I was blown away by how welcoming these guys are! Great people, great instruction, and great jiu jitsu! If you’re looking to get started in BJJ in the area, look no further than north coast!
