I dropped in for a no Gi BJJ class while visiting cairns and had a fantastic experience. Troy Is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Everyone I trained with was friendly, respectful, and skilled. Great atmosphere, clean mats, and an ego-free vibe. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town! Definitely recommend if in the area

Great place to train. Troy knows his stuff and the team there are super welcoming and fun to train with. I loved that there is stand up and ground work every session, where a lot of clubs focus mostly on the ground.

Nogi Jiu Jitsu in Cairns is awesome! Troy made me feel super welcome from the start. Troy is a very high level and very experienced instructor and it was an absolute privilege to be able to learn from him. All the other students I met were really supportive and friendly too. The class schedule is so flexible—with even early morning sessions available. I can't wait to visit this gym again on my next trip to Cairns. I cannot recommend the place enough!

I dropped in during a working trip to Cairns from Melbourne and came for the professors resume. Definitely lived up to expectation with high level instructional, a welcoming environment and great bunch of students who wanted to help and not try to crush me. If I get sick of the cold in Melbourne this will be my place to train.
