I've trained in many other dojos and have never felt more acceptance, camaraderie, community engagement, humor, and mutual respect (based on being a solid person rather than on BJJ experience, physical talent, skill, or competition). They offer Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing, yoga, circuit training, muay thai, wrestling, self defense, boxing, and more. If you want to train in a supportive environment with a variety of training, this is your spot.

Great and inclusive bjj/martial arts school! I train mainly at Garth Taylor Jiu Jitsu bc it is closer to me, but I love stopping by Caren’s school when I’m in the area or for special events like this holiday party. I feel totally at home here as a queer person and although I’ve trained for several years it seems very beginner-friendly as well!

Great friendly BJJ gym & community with superb instructors! Niji stands true to its value of being an inclusive and welcoming space. There is a good mix of classes here including BJJ (Gi & No Gi), boxing/kickboxing, yoga, kids' programs, and a good balance of beginner to more advanced students in each class. It is also very affordable for the area & BJJ in general with frequent promos throughout the year.

Such a great spot to train! The instructors a professional, the school is clean and safe. Beginners are welcomed and advanced students are challenged to improve. Caren, the owner, has created such a beautiful community of people who are passionate about improving themselves, and fellow students, on and off the mat. Niji is like a home away from home.

Great place to train! There are a variety of classes here- jiu jitsu, kickboxing, circuit training and yoga, with a rotating Wednesday for fun intros to other things like wrestling. It’s a very welcoming environment for people who are new to martial arts but there are many high ranked students so you’ll always get something from training. It’s also one of the cleanest jiu jitsu gyms I’ve trained at!
