This is the best Muay Thai gym ever! I started with no experience, and I’ve learned so much about technique, strategy, and discipline. The training is high level, and it’s more than just a gym — it’s a place where you grow in every way. I recommend this gym for everyone — adults, kids, and beginners!

Kru Rob is very experienced, has good empathetic ability and is patient, good at helping struggling people through martial arts. Kru Travis and Kru Tyler are both great people to be around and radiate good energy into the environment. Training is classic, good conditioning and any mistakes a fighter or person makes will be corrected. Environment is friendly and clean, instructions are clear and is a serious but playful atmosphere (exactly how a Muay Thai gym should be)

I've been training at muay thai whitby for about 6yrs now, and it's hands down the best decision I've made for my fitness and mental game. The Muay Thai sessions are intense but perfectly structured. Kru Rob breaks down techniques like clinch work and elbows with crystal-clear demos, making even us beginners feel like we're building real skills fast. No ego here; it's all about progress. The Jiu-Jitsu side? Pure gold. Professor Bruckmann's classes flow from fundamentals to live rolls seamlessly, and the camaraderie is unreal—everyone from white belts to brown belts is supportive, not competitive. Facilities are top-notch: clean mats, solid gear, and that post-class sauna hits different after a grind. What sets this place apart is the community. It's not just a gym; it's a crew that pushes you to level up while keeping it fun. If you're on the fence, just show up—your future self will thank you. 5/5, no question. 🥊🟣

1 of the Best gyms ive trained at over the years. I haven't fought competitive for years and under Kru Robs guidance and training im confidently stepping back in the ring. Great atmosphere and Open Sparring Saturdays is the best. Once you come to a Saturday sparring session youll feel like part of the gym family. The classes are great and the fight camps are intense. If your looking for a new journey, family and challenge MuayThai Whitby is the place to be.

I’ve been fortunate enough to be at the studio since May of this year. I started with the womens kick boxing classes and now I’m doing beginner Muay Thai class and women’s. Cannot say enough good things about this place and the people. Instructors have amazing knowledge. They will meet you where you’re at and really work with you to improve skills and confidence in the art of your choice. It’s clean and friendly. I’ve been to a few gyms now and what really set this place apart for me is the class structure. My experience with other gyms is that we’ll be working more with the boxing bags than pads. I was very pleasantly surprised to see that in this studio we’re mostly working with a partner on pads. (Combo work, not sparring. There are specific sparring classes as well) Whether it be Muay Thai pads or boxing pads. We have done bag work, but not nearly as much. This has not only helped build my knowledge and abilities more but also has actually helps to make friends and have more of an interactive community experience. You will definitely get to know someone quicker if you’re hitting them(padded ofcc). If you’re looking for a place to learn a really cool martial art or just get some insane cardio in as well as make friends and a community. This is the place for you!
