A family run business that makes you feel at home while you are there. We signed my daughter up when they had just opened. The instructors are kind, patient, and very thoughtful. My husband has joined and trains there regularly. Even I tried a class. The regulars there are very accepting and so kind to the kids in their program.

I started training in 2014 with Professor Vitor Xavier. He is passionate about teaching and having the student understand WHY you do x,y, or z. This makes it easier to understand the moves and how the body works. I appreciate his instruction. I started training jiu jitsu during a low time in my life. I was so enamored with the feelings of self confidence and self esteem when I would train that I would train all the time. Having a sacred place to enjoy a workout and relieve the stress of the day is great. Especially if it’s a hard day and you want to get some hard rolls in. This place is brand new , clean and just a beautiful place. The energy is wonderful. This place is family friendly, bring your kids, your mom , dad, whoever! You won’t regret it.

Newly remodeled modern facility , highly professional coaches, and very friendly. The best place around to train for all ages. Coach Vitor embodies the essence of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I'm almost 50 years old and there are three reasons I practice Jiu Jitsu: 1) Stay in Shape 2) Learn how to defend myself 3) make friends. Mt Diablo Jiu Jitsu is THE place to accomplish these things in a friendly, safe, and clean environment. Ive done every type of exercise you can think of: Crossfit, HIIT, lifting, biking, running, swimming, etc... This is the only exercise that I've consistently done for years. All of the other exercises get old and you start watching the clock waiting for it to be over. Jiu Jitsu challenges your mind and your body. The workouts leave you drenched in sweat wondering how the time went so fast.

I've trained with Vitor since 2014 and he's become one of my closest friends and a mentor. My training partners there are like a second family. Learning jiu-jitsu is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable journeys I've been on. All are welcome.. come join us on this journey!!
