Went there for a trial class and was overwhelmed at the care and kindness of everyone from instructor to training partners. The instructions and tips I received from their head coach was absolutely amazing. With a few words he helped me fix a lot of mistakes I was making. I am pretty out of shape and never felt rushed by anyone there. They were all understanding of my limits and allowed me to step aside whenever I needed to. I just wish i lived a bit closer, but if you can make it to this academy, i'm sure you'll have a great time. I really enjoyed my time there.

Recently completed a gi class with professor Alvarez. He was very patient, ran a great class where I felt really welcomed and it was a killer workout. Highly recommend.

I started at Cobrinha back in July of this year. I work as a high school teacher & wanted to learn some self defense. Being in my 40's I was a bit hesitant about taking bjj. I'm so glad I took the chance & started my bjj journey here. The staff at Cobrinha South is very professional, & my fellow students are great about giving minor instruction when they can. Since I started at Cobrinha I've lost 16 lbs and my health has dramatically improved. If you are looking to learn bjj & are looking for a school with a professional staff who can give you lots of direct instruction I highly recommend Cobrinha South. Thank you
