  My son began lessons in January and has loved every minute of his time at this Academy! Professor Daniel is a fantastic teacher for children, with the right mix of patience, encouragement, and gentle “toughness” to keep the kids focussed and working towards their personal best. My husband and I are AMAZED at how much our 11-year old has learned in a short time. From the fitness aspect (great warm-ups for total body wellness) to self-defence to simple games to practice new skills, my son has never wanted to miss a week. I would highly recommend this class to help build self-confidence and self-awareness in your child, and you will find Professor Daniel to be an excellent role model to teach respect for self, others, in a very welcoming and collegial Jiu Jitsu school environment. Thank you Montanha Jiu Jitsu Academy!

  My two kids (ages 6 and 9) and I have been training with Professor Daniel for the past year. We love the jiu jitsu but more specifically we love the people, the vibe of the club and most of all Professor Daniel’s unlimited knowledge that he generously shares with us. And now the club just installed new mats which are a joy to roll on! Great people, great vibes and great leadership and new mats. What more can you ask for!

  I am a three-stripe white belt and visited the school while traveling from San Francisco. Professor Montanha and his team were super welcoming, and I found the general skill level to be very high and the pace and attitude of the practitioners to be competitively balanced and focused on technique and learning; really great experience! Jiu Jitsu is a journey of learning and Professor Montanha added new techniques and insight to my game. Will definitely be back and think that Montanha BJJ is my home gym away from home when I’m in Miami. Oosss🤙🏼

  I have had the privilege to train with Professor Daniel for a little bit now. I can confidently say that beyond his technical expertise, Professor Daniel's passion for BJJ is infectious. He motivates and inspires his students to push their limits and reach their full potential. His enthusiasm is palpable, making each class engaging and enjoyable.
