  "My daughter absolutely loves her jiu-jitsu class! The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and create a safe and supportive environment for all students. The class is not only teaching her valuable self-defense skills, but also helping her develop discipline, confidence, and perseverance. We've seen significant improvement in her focus, coordination, and overall physical fitness since she started attending classes. We are very happy! I highly recommend it. 👍

  My daughter and I took classes here, she was in the Krav Maga class over this past year and I completed their women's self defense class, both were amazing experiences. The academy has such a welcoming environment and just friendly and wonderful coaches and people all around. Very appreciative of our time here.

  Top notch family friendly community. My kids love the environment and there’s something for everyone - all ages. Marcio and his coaches make everyone feel like family. The gym is clean and welcoming with a structured curriculum to help you advance and grow as a human. Offering Brazilian Jiujitsu and a variety of other disciplines - you’ll love it!

  I’ve known Professor Marcio (Tortinho) Nunes since July 2018, and I had always planned to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) alongside my daughter. At the time, she was too young, but we finally joined MNBJJ HQ Academy in January 2024 — and the timing couldn’t have been better. As a triathlete who has completed multiple half Ironman races over the past 16 years, I know the importance of discipline and physical fitness. BJJ has added a whole new dimension to my training. It’s not just a great workout but also an essential skill that has sharpened my mental toughness. My daughter and I both truly enjoy learning it, and the fact that we can do this together makes it even more special. What I love most about MNBJJ HQ Academy is the family-oriented environment. Everyone here leaves their ego at the door, which creates a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all. Professor Marcio’s guidance, both on and off the mats, has been instrumental in our growth. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, this place offers a community where you can develop your skills and push your limits.   I’ve joined MNBJJ in September. It has been an amazing experience. The 6am morning class with Eddie is the best way to start your day. The Professor, the coaches, the staff and the community here is all amazing.
