  I travel to Paducah for work regularly and dropped in at Metamorphosis to train last night. The vibe is great and everyone is super welcoming. I didn’t have my gi, but they had a loaner for me. Austin’s teaching is concepts focused. He’s teaching the why behind a movement, not just a series of movements. The class format is enjoyable. I’ll certainly come back whenever I’m in town.

  Coach is great, training room looks cool, students are a colorful cast of characters. Students have to be respectful and cooperative to train here. Training hours will let almost any schedule train jiu-jitsu. Great gym.

  I dont normally leave reviews, but this place is just amazing and i’ll have to take my time here to express myself about how great they are. I’ve been wanting to do jiujitsu for a long time now, but as a girl, I somewhat feel awkwardly rolling with a lot of guys. I’ve been checking out a lot of gyms but i couldn’t find myself be comfortable in it. Luckily, I found this place. I still remembered the first day i came in, i felt so welcomed because everyone there acknowledged me, and they involved me into whatever activities that they were doing. Especially Austin, the coach, he asked me to roll with him. He was going with my flow, didn’t try to tap me, because he said it obviously wasn’t the point to win me. He just wanted to know where is my level at, and from there working it up with me. That is my respect for Austin, very professional! Everybody there treated each other with respect, they willing to share their skills if i ever needed help. Great and friendly environment! I just want to put this out here for any girls who want to train jiujitsu, this is the great place for yall!

  Very professional environment with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere! You’ll enter as a stranger and leave as a part of a family. The instruction can be advanced to a newcomer but the detailed information is able to break any move down to the foundation so it’s easy to learn and execute. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get into BJJ or any experienced practitioner looking to evolve their skills!

  Great place to train. Very friendly environment between the coaching staff and the lay out of classes and the gym itself. Its very welcoming with the look of the gym and the way they will work with you truly a pace for everyone!
