  My son recently joined this jiu-jitsu studio and has absolutely loved it. The coaches are patient, skilled, and great with kids. He’s learning real technique, building confidence, and always leaves class excited for the next one. The environment is positive, safe, and very welcoming. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a solid martial arts program!

  We can only say amazing things about this place. When we first started, our son was really shy. Throughout our whole time here, our son became very respectful of others, grew as a leader and in his confidence. Coach John has taken personal care and has always encouraged our son. We thank him so much for helping him instill good qualities. Thank you and Coach Ryguy for being with him since the beginning. We are so excited for our son to grow even more in Prof Tony’s class!

  Words are not enough to describe how impactful McHugh Jiu-Jitsu has been for us! What a journey it has been so far! The atmosphere at the academy is that of a family - there really is a significant bond among the coaches and students! They do an amazing job of instilling structure in the class and encouraging respect among the children, while still treating them as kids and making them comfortable throughout the class. True balance between focus and fun! They have created a truly amazing place that feels like a second home!!

  I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Pete McHugh and his team and their commitment to excellence is unmatched. McHugh BJJ is doing an incredible job building a positive and welcoming community through martial arts. The instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and truly care about their students’ growth on and off the mats. The environment is beginner-friendly, professional, and focused on helping students reach their full potential. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch martial arts training in the area!

  my daughter is 5 and has been loving learning jiu jitsu. coaches are so professional and help give the kids confidence to try new things while teaching focus and respect. I also started taking adult classes and have found training to be addictive and fun
