  Best martial arts school in town! The way the staff treats, teaches, and interacts with each student is beyond reproach. In just a short time, my strong willed and out going 3 year old has thrived in karate at Matthews Martial Arts Midland and looks forward to it every time. My reserved and quiet 6 year old has come out of his shell and shined bright. You won’t regret the investment this will be for your kids! It isn’t just the karate skills your kid will gain-it’s so much more!

  I love Matthews Martial Arts! They help both kids and adults learn to defend themselves and create a loving environment. They are patient and teach discipline and respect. It is a place you can make friends while fighting them in competitions and sparring matches.

  We cannot say enough positive things about Matthews Martial Arts as a family. They love your kids. Know them by name. Build character. Teach accountability. All while teaching them skill and making it FUN! They cheer on during the good days and build up on the hard ones, because we all have those, too. I can promise if you’ve been on the fence about whether or not this could be a place for you, it IS! Watching your kids work hard and be proud of their growth is incredibly rewarding.

  Levi has been in class for over a year now, we can’t express how thankful we are that we stumbled upon them. Levi always dreamed of being a Ninja and Matthew’s martial arts is making that dream come true! He has grown and gained so much confidence over this past year.   I’ve been training at Matthews Martial Arts for over 10 years now. This place and the staff have been amazing in helping me become a better martial arts and a better human being in general. Love this place, love the sense of family it brings to the community. One of the best things that has happened in my life is being able to train here. 10/10 would recommend.
