A lovely and welcoming environment for children and parents. The kids love coming here every week and my son has been a member for a year. He loves it week in week out. The staff are brilliant in all areas and are always to hand for any questions I have
Excellent place for young kids and adults. My son has been coming here for a year and he has loved every minute of it. He has gained so much confidence and that is due to the nature of the staff. All members of staff are extremely friendly and helpful and they interact so well with the kids. A true gem of a place for any child to learn some skills from an extremely welcoming and friendly team
I highly recommend Masters of Martial Arts Academy in Blackburn! This place is absolutely brilliant. Both my son and daughter have been attending for some time now, and I can see incredible progress in both of them. My daughter is still having a blast and developing her skills in the "Little Dragons" group – the coaches have a fantastic approach to toddlers, keeping them engaged and motivated through fun activities. My son has made such great progress that he has already moved up to the older group (ages 7+), where the training really helps build discipline, confidence, and physical fitness. Total professionalism, a great atmosphere, and truly dedicated staff. If you are looking for a place where your kids can learn respect, discipline, and great martial arts techniques, this is the best choice in Blackburn! 5/5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My boy has been attending for a few months and is loving it!! He has additional needs and can struggle socially but everyone is always super welcoming and friendly, Its lovely to see him joining in and being accepted like all the other kids. It is a great outlet for his energy and helps teach him about boundaries and respect. I am a big mma fan too so its extra fun watching him train and have fun in a very positive family atmosphere.
Really good with shy kids. Charlie took an age to get into the spirit of things. But look at him now a true 'Little Dragon' loves it and will be moving up soon. His little brother loves coming also .
Brought my son for a taster session today and was very impressed. The place has a really nice vibe about it and my son had a big smile throughout his first lesson. Have now signed up and we look forward to his new Saturday hobby.
Posted 2 years agoMy eldest has been attending jujitsu classes and all senseis are amazing. They are extended family. They make kids and parents feel part of the process to get a black belt. Could not recommend more.
Posted 2 years agoFantastic Staff and brilliant lessons, fun yet very educating lessons. My daughter attended a trial run this week, and loved every moment of it. The timetable and time of lessons are ideal around my working life and, the price and flexibility on the lessons are very reasonable, something which is hard to find these days ! 10/10 - From myself and my daughter ! Posted 3 years agomy son joined masters of martial arts as a little dragon and recently just graded to juniors. he absolutely loves coming and everyone has been very kind and welcoming. we can't wait to see him grow and move up. definitely worth coming if you're considering and the free trial makes it so easy to see if it's for you
Posted 3 years agoFantastic martial arts school with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly knowledgeable instructors. Signed up my son initially to teach him discipline, increase his social skills, and develop his confidence. It wasn’t long before I joined the adult class myself. At the age of 57 I thought I was passed it and that learning a martial art would remain one of those things I’d always wished I’d done. With the help and encouragement of the amazing Senseis and supportive classmates I am now hooked. My confidence as well as my fitness has increased and I look forward to class every week. My son and I enjoy belonging to and enjoying the sport together and we feel like we have joined not just a club but a family. My sons confidence is increasing week by week and he has widened his social circle making many new friends he looks forward to seeing each week. A first class facility and a decision to join that I will never regret.
