Training at Mario's feels incredible, with a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch coaching from Professor Mario and his team.
Thank you professor Mario for allowing me to train at your facility during my travels. I picked up some great nuggets from the lessons taught/learned today. Thank you again for your hospitality and guidance given.
At Mario Esfiha Brasa BJJ, the community is unmatched. From the instructors to fellow students, everyone supports and encourages each other. It's more than just a gym; it's a tight-knit family where you'll find camaraderie and lasting friendships. If you're looking for a supportive community to enhance your BJJ journey, Mario Esfiha Brasa BJJ is the place to be!
Great School. JuJutsu Kaisen irl fr fr ong
Great atmosphere and top level Jiu-Jitsu for the entire family.
Mario is a top notch instructor. All 3 of my kids go here, and you won’t get the personalized instruction from the adults as you would in any other gym. I’ve worked with great kids coaches in the past, but there’s usually one or no more than two instructors at a time. At this gym, you have an array of high-level belts, teaching and instructing the children to give them 1 on 1 pointers and tips. The coaches care about my kids and their development. This is a great community and people are respected from all walks of life. Check the gym out! You won’t go anywhere else!
Excellent BJJ instruction, great BJJ fellowship. Mario is a legit living legend in the BJJ scene, and incredibly personable. The other coaches are all of an impeccable pedigree as well. Also, a great pool of other BJJ greats doing seminar rotations throughout the year.
The best club I could have joined in the Austin area. Mario and all the other instructors go out of their way to show they care about your well being in your Jiu Jitsu career and in general. They will also tell you exactly what you need to hear in order to get better. Recommend 💯.
I am so happy that I started my BJJ journey here! I walked in with a lot of nerves and absolutely no prior experience - and was warmly welcomed into a safe environment + generous community. Mario and the other coaches are great at providing detailed + effective, yet easy to understand, instruction. They always take the time to to answer questions and help out white belts like myself drill a technique. This place isn't close to my house - so I checked out other BJJ gyms in my area -- none of them had the same welcoming/community vibes! It's worth the drive! Highly recommend.
Best BJJ in Austin! Mario and his team absolutely rock 💯
I've been training with Mario for about a year now total, and I just can't say enough good things about him as a coach and the people here. Absolutely a top notch, no-nonsense school.
Attended a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu seminar here. Several Black Belts on the mats! Great instructors! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help with techniques. Very positive vibes!
I attended a BJJ class and it was awesome class and rolls. Looking forward to try out the Muy Thai class as well! Thank you!
Couldn't ask for a better environment. Every instructor is skilled and unique. All the members are respectful and genuinely want you to learn and improve. I went to many other schools before making a decision. So glad I chose Esfiha BJJ.
Stopped by as a visitor to the gym, super cool guys and Prof Mario is also very welcoming. If they're this good to a visitor, I wonder what it's like to be part of the team!
Simply the best Jiu-Jitsu one can find. Great atmosphere, friendly people, hardcore old school BJJ.
My friends and kids train here; and love it. Great atmosphere and people.
If I had to describe this club in one word it would be authentic. Legit authentic Brazilian jiu-jitsu. And a great authentic group of people. A big thank you to Will, Ellis, Lance, Doug, and Robert for making me feel at home. And huge props to professor Mario for putting it all together.
I joined a little over a month ago. And I have to say, what a great place to learn Juijitsu. After trying a few classes at other places in Austin, it really makes me thankful I found Mario's academy. Great group of people with an excellent instructor!
The overall culture of the school is that of humility and teaching. I picked Mario's school after visiting six others.
Spectacular!
