  This place is great. I train in Australia and dropped in for a week whilst visiting family to get some training in Canada. Professor Igor treated me like one of his own students and always made time for my questions even though I was just visiting. Cannot recommend enough if you visiting or live nearby this place is amazing to train. The people here genuinely care about your growth and progress and Igor is a great example of that. Bless 🙏❤️

  Been training here for over 2 years and I consider it my second home. Everyone is so welcoming, we train and push each other and we're there for each other. I couldn't ask for a better team and I'm blessed to be apart of it!

  Mamute Academy Feels Like Home for My Kids My son and daughter absolutely love Mamute Academy. From the moment we walk in, Katie at the front desk is always warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful—she sets the tone for the amazing experience we have every time. The BJJ coaches—Professor Igor, Coach Brad, and Coach Simon—are phenomenal. They each bring something unique to the mat and are fantastic with the kids. They teach with patience, structure, and genuine care, creating a perfect balance of discipline and fun. Coach Austin brings so much energy and positivity to the Muay Thai classes. He knows how to push the kids in the best way and keeps them excited to learn and improve every week. It’s rare to find a place where your kids are not only learning but thriving—and looking forward to every class. Mamute Academy has become a second home for us, and we couldn’t be happier to be part of this team.

  We’ve been attending for over a year with my tween/teenage daughter and I’m very impressed. It’s not a gym; it’s a family. Coach Austin is absolutely amazing with kids but he also knows what’s best for his trainees and he’s not afraid to push them so that they can see what he sees. I know I am in excellent hands and I trust his direction. My daughter’s confidence went from non existent to strong and growing. I highly recommended checking them out if you’re looking to start a martial arts regime. (Muay Thai & Boxing) Although we haven’t taken part in the JuJitsu Program, we often get a chance to see the class prior to our class starting, Professor Igor is an excellent coach who motivates his students. He takes the time to engage them and to uplift them. The students at Mamute are thriving and they are encouraging with one another. I do not think I could find a better gym and I have been to a few in the area.

  If you are considering this place, just stop thinking and join. It is one of the best decision you can make about ur training and mental improvement. The coach that I worked with (Austin and Professor) did just show amazing knowledge of their craft, but also want to improve ur general thinking and mentality. I will always be there when I am in town.
