  When I joined Limitless Edmonton, I had been training with Joey for a few months. I really enjoyed how he broke down techniques to their simplest and easy to execute steps. I can truly say he is a great teacher. I felt really comfortable competing because he makes sure that he rolls with you to see what you can improve. The whole Limitless Edmonton gyms is a welcoming friendly and competitive gym with skilled people who care about you because they want you to grow in the sport. They will take care of you in every step of your Jiujitsu journey. Always Limitless, See you again soon.

  I've been training at Limitless BJJ since May of 2023. I can say without a doubt that Joey is an amazing coach to have! He has the ability to break down complex problems and situations into easy bite sized concepts. In Joey's class, you will get a modern approach to jiu jitsu that follows an ecological and gamified approach to jiu jistu, all while incorporating drilling into the classes. Joey is extremely knowledgeable, highly skilled and cares about the progress of each and every student that he has. He shows patience in answering questions and in showing techniques that may seem overwhelming to newer belts. In competitions he will passionately be at your corner to coach you for the best results in your matches! The gym itself is very clean with a good amount of mat space. The training partners here are kind, considerate and willing to help! An amazing bunch of people that are also tenacious, competitive and skillful! At this gym, there are no contracts with only a single monthly fee which is also the best price in the city, bar none! If you're brand new to jiu jitsu or you're a higher belt. Come swing by and try a class, there is no drop in fee and I can guarantee that you will have an amazing time!

  Very welcoming and encouraging space to train. Every class, I leave learning something. It is difficult NOT to show up when you're surrounded by like minded individuals who want to get better at Jiu Jitsu and wants to brings others up with them!

  I can say with certainty that you are in good hands at limitless. The limitless team came to the gym I train at, to instruct our no gi class, and I was very grateful for the knowledge I got. Joey is an amazing coach and instructor who takes his time to break down techniques to its simplest form so you can understand and apply the technique at the highest level. The students are very friendly and welcoming and willing to help you if you need.

  Amazing place for kids and adults. Joey possesses an extremely high Jiujitsu IQ and is one of the most knowledgeable coaches I have ever trained with. He is able to break things down and explains concepts and techniques very well. This gym is growing fast and for good reason. They have a great group of people whom are all incredibly kind and welcoming. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
