Levitate Jiu Jitsu is an absolutely amazing place! My daughter has learned so much in such a short time not just in skills, but in confidence and discipline as well. The instructors are incredible; they’re patient, encouraging, and genuinely care about each student’s growth. They make learning fun while still pushing the kids to do their best. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in how they teach. I highly recommend Levitate Jiu Jitsu to anyone looking for a supportive, high-quality martial arts experience!

I recently dropped in for a couple of jiu jitsu classes and a striking class while I was on vacation from out of state. Rocco and the other instructors were very welcoming and supportive. I also really enjoyed training with the other students. Definitely recommend!

Levitate Jiu-Jitsu has become a true family hub for us. From my daughters to my husband and myself, we've all found a welcoming home here. The community is incredibly supportive, and Professor Rocco's coaching is fantastic for both kids and adults. It's a safe and respectful environment, especially for women.

Found levitate Jiu Jitsu five years ago after Jocko said I should be training Jiu Jitsu well levitate didn’t disappoint, with great instruction from professor Rocco and a great family atmosphere my whole family now trains at levitate. If you want a legit laid back good instruction, and a family friendly atmosphere where your whole family can train come to levitate Jiu Jitsu

Levitate is an amazing school for kids and adults alike. The camaraderie can’t be beat, and atmosphere is welcoming. Rocco and all of the instructors are all amazing teachers. Great way to get in exercise, while learning self defense and jiujitsu skills. Great school!!!!

I really like this school and I highly recommend it. My 6 year old loves it above all other activities he is enrolled in. In addition, all instructors are really great and have patience of a saint when it comes to teaching kids different and sometimes complicated concepts.

I was in town for work and texted Levitate about doing a drop-in. Professor Rocco got back to me immediately and said "come on up!" The facility is bright, very clean, with a nice size mat. The class had a wide variety of students with various levels of experience. We worked on a nice judo entry throw and take down, followed by rolling. The rolls were fun and challenging, worked up a good sweat!! It was a very welcoming environment and I look forward to more classes when I visit the area again.

I reached out to levitate about dropping in for a class while I was visiting from out of state. Head Coach, Rocko, was very responsive and friendly about getting me in the door. My little nephew trains in the kids program here and I wanted to just come in and play around with him. I was able to attend their open mat with my nephew and we both had a great time. I got a few rolls in with some of the students and played some bjj games with my nephew. I will definitely be back whenever I’m in town!

I trained here for about six months and had to move due to work. Since before and after going to Levitate I have trained at four other schools and none have been as good as here. There is nothing bad about Levitate, great instructors, students, schedule, and facility. I drove 45 minutes to get here everyday I trained and it was worth every penny. I definitely miss this place and hope one day I can find a place to train that is half as good as here.

My wife & I attended classes for about a year, before work took us out of the area. I can’t recommend this place enough. Whether it’s self defense, fitness, or just meeting some people with a similar interest, Levitate will check all those boxes. We had a great time, and although we’re leaving the area, we have every intention of continuing on The Path. It’s always a bit nerve-racking trying something new, but Professor Rocco is very laid back (no Cobra Kai vibes) and an excellent instructor, so that new-student awkward-period wasn’t too jarring. Try it. Have fun. Stick with it. Good luck.

I've had the opportunity to train at a lot of different academies while traveling. Levitate JJ is excellent. Students are well trained and coached by their professor, Rocco. The place is spotless and the mats are immaculately maintained. They offer Gi and NoGi training and most students practice both disciplines. I'll be back for sure Oss!

I had stopped by this gym a few weeks ago to visit a coworker. I was very happy with both the atmosphere and the levels of Jiu jitsu at this gym. Professor Rocco conducted a very informative technique and later organized plenty of time of good hard rolling. I would recommend stopping in to visit this gym if you are in the area.

In my professional life I’m a guitar instructor. The furthest thing from a Jiu Jitsu practitioner. Although there are some similarities when it comes to your instructor. I’ve had a ton of instructors along the way with guitar but I can say that Rocco is easily one of the best instructors I’ve ever had in anything. He can break down a techniques and a lot of that thought process not only translates to the mats but even how I approach teaching at my first craft. Also at Levitate it’s a family so prepare to work hard 💪

Today was my first time ever attempting any kind of self defense grappling martial arts jitsu. I must say it's in my head now LOL I want to come back everybody was very cool I will not forget this first day I will be coming back I made it all the way to the last round in the roll live but I stopped halfway LOL. It's very awesome I have a lot to learn it was a good day can anyone say Knee Burn LOL thank you levitate Jiu Jitsu for having me.

Professor Rocco and Instructor Bryan are absolutely amazing! they are so good with the kids group explaining things at a level they understand and correcting them when needed. I highly HIGHLY recommend coming here. my son went to a different facility for martial arts a few years ago and it was horrible, these two men have restored my son's trust and joy.

ive been training jiujitsu for almost a decade. i come to levitate a few times a month ( i train elsewhere , levitate is too far from where i live) and i benefit greatly from those classes. instructor rocco runs a friendly and clean academy, very positive environment, very conducive to learning and training instructor rocco is everything you want in a teacher- his demeanor, character, love for the art, knowledge.....impeccable! im a frequent visitor and i am regularly astonished at how much his students progress in the short time between visits! it honestly blows me away! should you decide to train at levitate i can promise you that you will have chosen wisely! jiujotsu is the king of martial arts, and levitate is a great place to learn it!!!

Instructor Rocky runs a great school. You can tell this because all of his students are respectful, humble and eager to learn. The people I train here with have become family. It's a super clean gym and has a good focus on self defense first and then sport. No mat bullies, no bs, just a hard working crew, working hard on getting better at BJJ!

Professor Rocky is a great teacher and person. His instruction is top notch, he does a tremendous job with all students. He is especially gifted with teaching children. I recently turned 53 and I was looking to take my fitness into a whole new direction so, I tried BJJ and soon realized how much fun and a great work out and for the mind as well. I started my journey at Levitate Jiu Jitsu with Professor Rocky who's a great instructor that really breaks down the movement so as it's easy to understand and shows great patience. Everyone is so nice and helpful, we are all learning and sharing ideas in our journey. Highly recommend this place.

Almost three years ago, I took my first jiu jitsu class. I still remember how instructor Rocco DeTillio made me feel at ease. Rocco’s encouragement then and in the classes that followed launched me on one of the best decisions of my life. Levitate Jiu Jitsu and Fitness has the same warm, welcoming atmosphere as its owner and head instructor. The facility itself is immaculate, with natural lighting and a retractable side door allowing fresh air. Rocco is a high level, very accomplished jiu jitsu competitor. More important, Rocco is a wonderful instructor. He is patient and thoughtful in his approach and takes a genuine personal interest in each and every one of his students and their development. During my work travels, I have visited a number of jiu jitsu schools across the country. I am forever grateful for having the good fortune to find and train with Rocco. In my view, Levitate is one of the best schools you could possibly find!

My two sons and I have enjoyed training at Levitate since June of 2018. Professor Rocky' s style of teaching is perfect for the kind of hands on learners we are. Our fellow classmates are a lot of fun to roll with, and the different styles, sizes, and strengths leave something new and exciting everyday. (Great for anyone tired of the same ol workout regiment.) It's fun to grow and learn together and we look forward to sharing knowledge and tips with each other. I highly recommend Jiu Jitsu in your life, and highly recommend Levitate!!!

I began training at Levitate Jiu-Jitsu when i was home on leave from the United States Navy. This was by far one of the best experiences i have had in my life. The dedication on knowledge Professor Rocco has of teaching Jiu-Jitsu made my experience so enjoyable. Professor Rocco has a way of teaching that is easy to understand and follow. I will definitely continue training Jiu-Jitsu where i get station and will visit Levitate Jiu-Jitsu while i am at home on leave in the future.

I have enjoyed the journey of BJJ coming through Levitate Jiu Jitsu. Both my son and I attend as well, so the kids class are great for a young child to experience the lifestyle. Training and learning at Levitate Jiu Jitsu has been a great experience. As of the writing of this review, I have been training for nine months and plan to continue for years. Rocco is a superb instructor due to his demeanor, his knowledge and his desire to train new and experienced, young and old in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jistu. The classmates are outstanding, both because of who the school attracts and because of Rocco's stewardship. There are no egos, everyone wants everyone else to learn, to exercise and to enjoy the training. I encourage anyone looking for a BJJ school to try Levitate, you won't be disappointed.
