I recently had the pleasure of dropping into a couple classes and such a great experience. The ease of dropping in was fantastic and the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, professional, and respectful—exactly what you hope for when visiting a new academy. The class structure was smooth, with a great balance of drilling, positional work, and live rolling. What stood out most was the culture on the mats. Every partner I rolled with was technical, controlled, and respectful, just solid jiu jitsu and great vibes. It’s not easy to find a place where visitors are treated like teammates. I highly recommend Last Chance academy! Thank you to the entire team for the hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

I've trained at the other gyms in town and hands down. Last Chance Grappling Club is the best. Best instruction, best training partners, best community, best location, and the list goes on and on. It's truly the last best place to train. If you've tried the other places in town and don't think BJJ is for you, then come train with us. Are you tired of creepy or slightly "off" BJJ gym owners? Or are you tired of just feeling like they just want your money and don't really care about individual training needs? Great! LCGC is a non-profit run by a board of experienced grapplers and the most black belts in Helena. All membership dues go directly back to bettering the gym and your training experience. You won't regret giving LCGC a try. See you on the mats!

I came to this gym from another gym in town. There are five black belts at this school and many higher-ranked students. The instruction is very technical and the attention to students is very good. I really liked the gym and brought my kids over with me as well. Great kids program.

I was visiting from France and decided to drop in for some training, I'm so glad I did! The coaches were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great guidance throughout the session. The entire team was friendly, respectful, and more than happy to roll with me. It was a great atmosphere with a strong sense of community. Highly recommended for anyone looking to train while in town!
