Kuzushi Club is a great jiu-jitsu gym. Great camaraderie, everyone is friendly and eager to help each other improve. Coach Mohammad is so passionate about his teachings and the sport. Not only does he have great BJJ techniques, he has a skill at articulating the steps and giving more insight on where and why you would use it. It makes it so much easier and fun to actually learn the sport that you want to keep coming back for more. Coach Mohammad is one of the most experienced Atlanta grown Jiujitsu competitors and understands the modern game more than anyone else in the city right now. I’ve had the honor to train with him over the years and his knowledge has helped me on the circuit multiple times. Everyone that trains here is easy to get along with and the space feels safe. The training environment gets a lot of daylight and the mats are clean. One of my favorite places to train!

The owner and head coach Mohammad Ibrahim is a wonderful coach and teacher. He really takes his time to make sure everyone in the class feels comfortable and is having fun in the program. He breaks technique down to a digestible substance that ensures that even a brand new person can absorb the knowledge and start applying it. I really appreciated the way he structured the class. It was very helpful for me as a new person to be able to start rolling (sparring) very early, but in a very controlled manner. He and everyone else here at Kuzushi club Atlanta welcomed me with open arms, I felt part of the community on day one. I would definitely recommend everyone to try out their program whether you’re brand new or a seasoned practitioner.
Kuzushi club Atlanta is a wonderful place to train. Mohammad (head coach and owner) is a world class instructor and coach. He not only pours his heart and soul into the mats as a leader, but he also leads from the front. He still trains 2-4 times a day on top of running a business/gym full time. He competes frequently and his medal count speaks volumes. On top of this, he is one of the nicest, funniest, and most down to earth people I know. You would never guess by the way he dresses and carries himself that he is a verified killer on the mats. I would HIGHLY recommend practitioners of all skill levels to check out his program. I guarantee you’ll learn amazing jiu jitsu on top of having a blast while doing so. The community here is also very supportive, regardless if you’re new to the art or not.

Absolutely fell in LOVE with Kuzushi Club Atlanta. I was super nervous about attending for the first time ,but Mohammad made me feel at ease. I texted the phone number on their Instagram page & quickly received a response with the information I needed. The space was super clean, open, and all the current members were so easy going (felt right at home). To all the females out there thinking about giving Jiu Jitsu a go or picking up a new gym… I highly recommend this place!!! You will get the training you need hands down. A diamond of a gym.
I’ve been bouncing around BJJ gyms all over Atlanta, and Kuzushi Club ATL is easily one of my favorites. Mohammad and Stu are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about BJJ, and their commitment to their students is unmatched. Mohammad has a great way of articulating and breaking down techniques, making them easy to understand and apply. The atmosphere is always fun, friendly and respectful, and the music never disappoints. Plus, having full access to World Gym and its amenities is a huge bonus. Highly recommend training here.

Mohammad is an excellent coach and instructor. He was able to diagnose problems I was having with my half guard passing. Additionally, he was able to give me some excellent advice about Sasae. He has a deep understanding of game and is in constant pursuit of additional knowledge that he can pass off to his students. Mohamed is one of the greatest jiu-jitsu minds I have ever meet! Teaching modern day jiu-jitsu as well as putting together a very chill environment with a non-toxic culture is what sticks out to me the most! Not to mention being inside of a gym with all them amenities, what more can you ask for? Definitely will be dropping in on a regular bases.
Had the privilege to attend Mohammad’s morning and evening classes on the gyms soft opening. I was amazed at Mohammad’s ability to instruct and carry the entire room of students. Everyone was treated with the upmost respect and care from white belt beginners to seasoned upper ranks, and all different age groups. He went out of his way to ensure that everyone in the room grasped the techniques shown but also understanding the concepts and principles involved so, you can develop a strong sense of jiu jitsu applications without having to learn technique to technique. Mohammad also made sure to watch positional sparring and live sparring, and would roll with every student in the class. His technical ability to instruct, along with his jiu jitsu application is world class. I would recommend Kuzushi Club Atlanta to anyone wanting to start jiu jitsu to even the highest level jiu jitsu players to learn from Mohammad .

Awesome and chill instructors. Very technical and knowledgeable on their craft (it def shows!!!) and each instructor offers a different take when teaching the technique (which is very helpful especially if your learning style doesn’t work well with traditional methods). Also not your typical meathead type gym (no offense to those), but the environment is very welcoming to people and genders of all shapes and sizes and makes it very known that if you feel uncomfortable sparring or whatever, they will def accommodate. Since the gym is inside of World’s Gym, you get all the perks of a traditional gym with a jiu Jitsu gym for one very competitive price. It’s a win whatever way you look at it!

This is the best martial arts school to learn jiu jitsu in the Smyrna area! The environment is welcoming, fun, and all about learning. I've just completed a 3 month trial run at this location and it's amazing. Perfect balance of expertise and approachability. With Worlds Gym membership included, you get access to the entire facility and diverse programs, making it worth every penny. In fact I've found its price is only a few bucks more or the same as other bjj gyms that are strictly only bjj gyms. Clean, safe, and supportive environment with great training partners and amazing instructors. The head instructor Mohammad is a high level competitor with an awesome philosophy on learning and teaching jiu-jitsu. Ideal for hobbyists and competitors. True hidden gem in Atlanta.

He’s great at breaking down technique in a way that whether it’s your first day in class or you’ve been training for years it’ll still make sense. He has a great understanding of the sport and is able to apply it to real life scenarios. The coach keeps the gym an inviting atmosphere for everyone and always keeps things safe. Stuart and Mohammad are phenomenal instructors and are truly passionate about jiu-jitsu. I’ve known Stuart for years, and every time I needed help with a move, he always had some insightful, corrective suggestion that immediately improved my game. If you want to get better faster, then you need to learn more than just proper techniques; you need instructors who walk the room and provide feedback on drills and rolls. You need that extra set of eyes to see what you’re doing wrong and to suggest how you can improve. These guys truly care about everyone in the room and work with students to bring out their best jiu-jitsu. They’re also consummate students of jiu-jitsu, updating techniques to make them more efficient.
Coach Mohammad was my first coach for BJJ because he came highly recommended by a friend who’d been training a long time and let me tell you, I’ll follow him anywhere he teaches. Between his friendly, safety first, team oriented approach, to the way he’s able to breakdown complicated moves into a way that’s accessible for beginners too, not just higher belts, you couldn’t ask for a better coach.
