Excellent training combined with a focused but fun vibe. Highly recommend Luby, very professional & clear to follow instructions & support. If you’re even a little bit curious, go along for a trial session, you’ll be hooked 😉

I was a bit unsure about joining a full contact sport but with Luby that was completely unnecessary, he is a very good teacher and I learned a lot in a relatively short time. Everyone knows the limits and I always felt to be in a good environment. I highly encourage everyone to try this out! Cheers Max

I’ve been training with Luby for ten weeks through his private lessons, and it has been an amazing experience. Being able to focus on specific technique and personalized training has been great help to me, and definitely increased the rate I learned the knowledge at. Luby was an effective teacher, and great at simplifying and describing certain movements that makes it easier to practice. Luby provided a supportive, engaging, and adequately intense training experience that has introduced me into the complex world of Krav. I have not spent nearly enough time to perfect the art of Krav, having to move abroad in a short time, but these lessons have sparked a new interest in me as I will continue to pursue this in the future. 10/10, would recommend

Joining Krav Fighter has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I was super nervous and wasn’t sure I’d be able to keep up, but from my first trial class, the instructors Luby and Joel made me feel completely welcome, comfortable and supported, along with the other members too. Unfortunately, I’ve had to relocate due to personal circumstances, but I already know that when I’m back in Auckland, I’ll be rejoining without hesitation. The training is the perfect amount of intense, practical and fun. What really did it for me is how much I’ve grown, not just physically but mentally too. I feel stronger, a lot more focused, and so much more confident in myself. The instructors genuinely care about helping you improve and they’re incredible at breaking things down so anyone at any level can understand. I walked out of every class feeling exhausted and sweaty, but so proud. If you’re even slightly considering trying it out or joining, just do it. I highly recommend!

This is the best Krav Maga school in Auckland — and likely in New Zealand. I've trained here for several years and have come to appreciate the coaches’ systematic approach, their thoughtful selection of techniques to drill, and their focus on self-defense in a very broad sense. It’s not just a bag of magic tricks you can pick up on YouTube. You learn a set of tools refined over time, along with the knowledge of when and how to use them. And, of course, you get plenty of opportunities to drill them against different opponents, in different situations, and under varying levels of stress.
