Posted 1 year agoThe in-store experience was great — Lyndon was genuinely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to help us select gloves and was courteous throughout our WhatsApp follow-up. Unfortunately, the after-sales experience, especially with the store’s manager, was disappointing. We requested a refund less than 24 hours after purchase for two pairs of gloves that remained unused and in their original condition. After trying them with hand wraps at home and speaking with our trainer, we realised the gloves weren’t suitable. We offered to return the items promptly, forgo all discounts, and even travel down to the store at their convenience. Despite this, the store refused the refund, citing “company policy,” and only offered store credit — which wasn’t a practical solution as we are relocating overseas. When we explained this, the manager responded dismissively and even belittled our trainer’s experience, stating their staff’s glove knowledge was superior and implying we were being unreasonable. Exact quote: “Store credit can be used online as well. The rest stays the same. If you want to leave a positive review, leave it for the staff who spent a lot of time helping you to find the perfect pair. He’s extremely knowledgeable, had tested hundreds if not maybe thousands of gloves and gives the perfect advice. Unlike a trainer who maybe tested 5-6 pairs in his whole life. If you want to ignore my staff’s thousands of hours of experience, feel free. Usually you would not even get a store credit, so I think it’s a good deal. Company policy is the law around here.” We also noticed a pricing discrepancy — the gloves were listed online at $115/$138 but sold in-store for $159. We were told a 10% discount applied for purchases above $350, but only $5.40 was discounted on accessories, which felt misleading. If you’re confident you’ll never need to return or exchange anything, this store may be fine. But if you value post-sale support, transparency, or a respectful resolution process — shop elsewhere. The return and refund policy here is effectively non-existent.
Posted 1 year agoBought a couple of equipment here, and the helpful and knowledgeable staff were all excellent at helping me find all the different sizes and brands. Also, they were really patient, and took the time to make sure that the products were suitable for me. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything :) The shop was very spacious and well stocked with a wide variety of goods too, which made it easy for me to purchase all the things I needed at one go. Thank you!
