My son Jack just started at Kiko France’s kids program and we have been so impressed! Kiko & Maria welcomed us like family on our first day observing and again at our trial class! My son tends to be shy & can take some time warming up to new environments - Maria took him right under her wing and got him engaged in the class to the point he was begging to go back all weekend! We enrolled him into the kids program this Monday & he woke up this morning asking to go back all day to “learn and fight and play”! It is so fun to see my kid so excited and engaged in a sport that will serve him for life! Grateful we were referred here!
I never had any experience with BJJ before I went to KIKO FRANCE last night. I did the fundamentals class and it was a really good work out. Both of the instructors in that class were great to work with and I could tell they really knew their stuff. Def recommend KIKO FRANCE if you want an introduction to BJJ.

I have been a student at Kiko’s gym for the last 7 months and have been loving every bit of it. Kiko and his coaches are phenomenal with their training curriculum as well as motivating the students during classes and in tournaments. I work two jobs and still find time to come a few times a week with the handful of classes that are available. Everyone who attends the school is amazing and we have a small family both at the gym and outside of it. Kiko takes great pride in knowing everyone and building a relationship that brings people back. He’s also great with spending time getting to know everyone’s learning style to help them learn the techniques in a style that works for them. BJJ has been a great thing for me in so many ways and I am very fortunate to have chosen this school and love seeing others who come from other gyms wanting to learn from Kiko and his team.

Have been training here for over a year now and it is one of the best decisions I have made. Kiko and his team have created an amazing culture of high level bjj training, friendly environment, and a cleanly facility. As a 5th degree black belt, his knowledge is of the highest caliber but also his teaching style and patience is what sets him apart. From his wife Maria to his sons and other coaches, they are all great people. This gym has surpassed my expectations coming in and I cannot recommend it enough. Don't waste your time anywhere else.

I took my first Women’s class at Kiko France last December- I came in with no combat sport experience and was a little nervous to try it out. I was blown away by the positive, respectful and encouraging environment and quickly joined their Multi-level and Fundamentals class! The coaching staff is knowledgeable and detail oriented, always willing to assist with technique and answer additional questions. I’d recommend this school to anyone looking to start bjj!
I started searching for a friendly, family oriented combat gym for my niece and nephew and as soon as I met Kiko and his family I immediately fell in love with them and the gym. I loved it for the kids so much that I joined myself also. Out of all the life decisions I made, joining Kikos gym with the kids was the best decision ever. His technical knowledge exceedingly detailed, which he teaches using a well constructed curriculum. This school is awesome. I went there for about 2 years. Super welcoming, especially for beginners. Kiko and his family/team are great — they really helped me out when I was injured. The training is intense, but in a good way. You'll definitely be challenged, no matter your level. It's like this perfect mix of tough and friendly, and that's hard to find. I’ve been coming here for a few months now. Nothing but good things to say. As a previous swimmer, this is nothing like anything I’ve done before. Kiko has been great teaching various techniques with a particular focus each week. Other members of the gym have been very welcoming and supportive. If you’re looking for a great BJJ gym look no further!
By far the best jiujitsu gym in Az, super clean mats which makes me feel way better plus a great coach who takes time to show the technique.

After searching for a gym that was closer to home I was recommended Kiko France BJJ. I was welcomed with open arms and felt right at home on my first day. The facility as a whole is great. Coaching is very good and so is the support from the other students. This is a very good gym and I highly recommend it.

Kiko is the best BJJ instructor I have trained under. He is incredibly patient and kind, and extremely knowledgeable about the sport. Each class is well structured with lessons and drills followed by live rolls. Kiko is actively engaged in each class, carefully watching and pairing the students against others who will challenge them appropriately. The culture is probably the best part about Kiko’s gym, with every person there working hard and extremely friendly. Many students compete regularly and perform very well in tournaments, but it is not required at the gym. Kiko helps every single person with close personalized advice and it really feels like a family each class. Can’t thank Kiko and his wife Maria enough and what a great gym to train at.

I joined Kiko’s gym back in January 2020 and I have nothing but positive things to say. Both Kiko and Maria and have been very professional since the day that I walked in for the free trial. I’ve not only learned a lot of great techniques since joining, but I’ve also had tons of fun, met a lot of great people, and got some of the best workouts I have ever had. I’ve also lost about 20 lbs within a few months after joining (for reference, I was about 205 when I joined) Kiko also has different classes for various levels and ages, including beginner adults and children.
The first day I came to the gym I felt nothing but welcomed. Kiko has taught me so many things about jiu jitsu already and I’ve only been in his classes for two months. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to purse jiu jitsu.
I can’t recommend this studio and Kiko as a coach enough. Kiko’s true mastery of the art of BJJ combined with his ability to guide and shape anyone at any level is truly unparalleled. My wife and I enrolled all four of our kids (3 boys / 1 girl) ages 4-9. The kids love it, and my wife and I are happy the kids are getting a workout while learning valuable skills. Kiko and his team are great with the kids. They break the class into exercising, teaching techniques, having the kids practice the techniques, and then the last 5-10 minutes letting the kids play. It’s a great breakdown for kids. My kids love going to class multiple times a week after school. The staff is very professional and safety is a priority. I would recommend Kiko France to any parents interested in enrolling their kid in martial arts.

I have had the opportunity to train in different BJJ gyms. I have not found the quality in fundamentals taught by Kiko. He has a great fundamental lesson plan that strengthens your all around BJJ skills. This place brings a family oriented atmosphere. I am honored and privileged to train with Kiko. This is a great place to learn the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I joined the gym in September, and attending class is the highlight of my day. I originally was looking for a way to learn a new skill and get a good workout and lose some weight. Safe to say that Kiko has provided that for me. Within the first month of joining i lost over 15 pounds. Also, Kiko's classes provide a safe and friendly atmosphere to learn. Kiko provides clear instruction and feedback so you can consistently improve your skills. The people in class are friendly and it creates a nice environment. Class schedules are convenient. I can not recommend this school enough to any one that is looking.
Great school and great teacher. Kiko is a great professor of jiu Jitsu in the gi and nogi as well. He spends time with his students helping them individually , which is nice for everyone training. This doesn’t happen at a lot of bjj schools. You can tell by his teaching how much he cares about his students and his program. His kids program is awesome also and his 2 boys train also train alongside the other kids. The school is clean, and well taken care of. You can tell they take great pride in the school and ownership. They also have Muay Thai training there. I Highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn from the best .

Best Jiu JItsu gym in the valley. I trained at one other location before a current student got me to switch over. Kiko is an amazing instructor and really puts in the time to make sure that every student feels welcome and is learning every class.
Kiko is a great Trainer for bjj. This is a clean gym, and he has great classes with nice people. I recommend taking personal lessons with him for boxing, and mma as well.

I trained at a few gyms around the valley before choosing Kiko France BJJ. Kiko is an amazing teacher, who fosters the most friendly, inclusive, and hard working gym of all the places I’ve trained at. It’s the only place I’ve been excited to train at everyday.
The greatest coach I know. Not only me but my kids go here as well. Kiko gives all his students the attention to learn details on techniques, to help make sure we drill properly. He will definitely turn your weaknesses into strengths!
Came to train but he didn’t allow me to train there because they follow ibjjf rules and I didn’t have the right color GI. Just because someone doesn’t have a blue, black or white GI is never a reason to not welcome someone who is out of town trying to continue their training. This isn’t a competition and the color of your Gi doesn’t account for the skills you acquire or possess. Honestly, I think you’re doing yourself and your students a disservice by not allowing people to train because we can all learn from each other regardless of the color of your Gi.
