Made my first drop in today at Kenny Kim Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and thr experience was awesome. I'm currently traveling for work and finding a spot to get mat time in is never easy. Luckily for me, this establishment not only welcomed me with an awesome environment but also a very lax and comfortable vibe and culture! Both of my kids and I train at Kenny Kim... we LOVE it. I cannot sing enough praises for Professor Gazzy with the kids, as well as the other coaches and professors who assist. My son and my daughter have not only grown in skill, but their confidence has skyrocketed! As a female, and a bit of a light-weight, I also cannot sing enough praises for how welcoming and comfortable the environment is for me. There are many women to train with who are wonderful partners for me, but the guys are also so helpful and wonderful partners too! As a white belt, I appreciate the higher belts who truly take the time and care to help me in my journey. And as a plus, now in my mid-40's, I have not had this flexibility and mobility since I was in my 20's!

I went in for my free introductory class in March and loved it! Everyone was kind, welcoming, and there to train. I got the feeling of joining a team that is there to make everyone better. The professor teaching the class explained the moves very clearly. He encouraged me since I’m a total newbie and he coached the higher belts to make their techniques more effective. I felt very safe learning. I definitely recommend Kenny Kim Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for beginners and for anyone looking to train with people who care!

I've been to a lot of gyms but none like this one. The level of training is top notch, the staff is approachable and accommodating, the community is welcoming and supportive. The coaches take what they do seriously and take their students progress just as seriously. I look forward to every class. I always come away with a new technique, idea, or outlook I've never considered before. I can't say enough good things about the kid's program. My son has learned valuable life skills and gained incredible confidence in himself since starting. And I'm beyond happy to have a constant reason to spend time with him on something we both enjoy. It's a privilege to be able to test and improve myself in a safe, fun, and family friendly environment. I don't want to gush too hard but it's been an inspiring journey here. I can't wait to see what's next.

Kenny Kim’s open mat on Thursdays are INSANELY BENEFICIAL! This was my first open mat experience and I will happily return for further learning & growth. I started BJJ in 1995 in Brazil and have been on and off all these years. As a part of life and so many moves I was able to experience many different gyms. As a brown belt, I am grateful for all of them and each that got me to where I am. but I can honestly say that I have never had one that was complete in all aspects. If atmosphere was great maybe lacked funds for a beautiful environment, if it was beautiful it maybe lacked higher belts, etc. This gym has it all; high technical level, very clean, structured, professional with regards to the program, and very nice peers making you feel at home the first day. And difficult to find nowadays you will find professor and founder Kenny present. Highly recommend!!! Ossss

I came to KKBJJ with no grappling experience of any kind. All of the instructors talented, encouraging, and patient. It has now been 10 years and I have found the most enjoyable exercise I have ever experienced. This is a great Facility for beginners all the way up to advance levels. It's very family oriented. Plus it has a competition team if you want to compete. In my opinion? This is one of the best academies in Cobb County, Georgia. There's all size training partners for everyone. Big, small male or female. Don't take my word, you should come by see if this is a good fit for you and yours. We've got lots of showers for men and women for after training. The matter cleaned after every class, and there's always a good turn out of people on the matts

I tried several BJJ dojos before Kenny Kim's and I found KK much better in terms of the general vibe and the quality of instruction. Professor Kenny's instruction and coaching is very detailed and thorough. The senior belts at the dojo are very helpful to new students and I have learnt a great deal from them. The dojo offers several session options (early mornings, pre lunch, evenings) throughout the week that makes it possible to train no matter what your work/family schedule looks like. I'd say if you are looking to train consistently and for a long time to come, this dojo is well suited for you. There are options to train to compete in tournaments if that is your thing. The dojo meets you where you are in your training journey and helps you get better at it. I wholeheartedly recommend Kenny Kim's BJJ.

Great place to train, ,super clean, excellent facilities, and a lot of hospitality. On Sundays, they have an Open Mat that really brings the BJJ community together. BJJ practitioners come from all over Atlanta and GA, for that matter, to participate at all levels. Highly recommended.

Fast forward one year later, I can’t imagine my life without the professors and teammates I’ve met here. They’re family and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Try it out! You won’t regret it!

I began training at Kenny Kim’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in December of 2018, and it has easily been one of the best decisions that I have made not only in the past year, but in my entire life. Since day one Kenny and all of the instructors and students have made me feel as if I’m part of a family and closely knit team. There are a wide variety of class times and class structures that will work with everyone’s schedules and goals they are trying to achieve. The mats and facilities are state of the art and kept incredibly clean at all times. Everything about this academy is truly welcoming. Bottom line, if you want to fall in love with the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or take your game to the next level, this is quite simply the best place in Georgia to do that.

Awesome gym. One of the nicest and cleanest gyms I have ever trained at. Multiple showers and high ceilings for great air circulation. The professors and students are all very respectful, no malicious training between training partners. The professionalism is grade A. The content and black belts are world class. Sunday open mats at 10am are filled with many black belts from all gyms. I recommend this gym to any wanted to start/continue their journey in Jiujitsu Great exercise Learn self defense Hobbiest or competition all welcomed with open arms

honestly can't think of anything that needs improvement or could be done better. The classes are many and at various times for all students, everyone is dedicated and skilled which makes everyone a great training partner, and there's a strong sense of family and sportsmanship. It's by far the largest jiu-jitsu school I've ever been to but also the nicest and most well run. I really can't think of an area that needs improvement. A spa next door to get a good rub down after Saturday classes would be nice for all of the aches and pains from the week! Haha But thank you sir, I'm elated to have martial arts back in my life and especially BJJ. I've made excuses for far to long and it feels great to be back and be at a school I admire and respect very much. KKBJJ!

A very warm and inviting atmosphere. Kenny takes great pride in providing his students with top notch instruction. It is evident by the way his team performs in competition but also the way they conduct themselves in his classes. He and his students are always respectful and cordial toward visitors from other academies. Kenny provides a great platform for the jiu jitsu community to come together and train during his Sunday open mat sessions.

Great place for any type of person interesting in learning BJJ. This academy has very knowledgeable instructors as well as methods of teaching. The place is clean and the environment is friendly, comfortable, fun and supportive. For someone who is very small and had zero experience in ANY martial arts prior to this, I was hooked the first day. I genuinely look forward to class every day as this has now become my “break”. The students and staff are also a great bunch of people. Highly encourage people to try it out.

I have read and heard great things about Kenny Kim's gym and I thought I was going to have a good experience but unfortunately I was unsatisfied with the experience. You see I called Kenny back in February of this year because I was heading to Georgia in March and I tried to schedule an appointment three weeks ahead of time. I had a few questions I wanted to ask and he told me that I could come and visit his school. When I arrived I had my temperature checked and introduced myself to Kenny and started to observe his class. When I was finished I asked him would it be ok if I ask him some questions but he rudely cut me off and stated that should have scheduled an appointment which I did and he seem like he didn't have the patience to work with me and my goals. I didn't stay long because I felt disrespected and embarrassed but fortunately I managed to find another school. Like what Jake said I'm writing because I'm concerned about future guess going to this school with good intentions but ends bup being pushed away or disrespected and because of this experience I will not be coming to this school ever again. I wish them the best.

Ive been part of the BJJ commnity in the northwest for about 4 years now. The BJJ scene in the area is huge. Im affiliated with impact jiu-jitsu there's schools all over the Portland metro area and spreading. Michael Chapman is the founder of the Impact jiu-jitsu. He has like 23 or more blackbelts at his school. I recived my blue belt from Richard Rangel at Impact Hillsboro. Upon visiting Kenny's school being 2500 miles from home I was expecting to recieve a warm welcome from the BJJ community however that was not the case. I felt like I was treated cold or even an outsider. I was requseting to join their class, I've been on the road. Apparently the BJJ culture is not the same here. However I highly reccomend trying another school this one seems to be more interested in money than things like kindness hospitality or brotherly love. I didn't get a chance to roll with them they appered to be skilled but there's Mcdojo schools and fake black belts all over so I would be careful sending your children here or paying them money to get a sub par education. Just a concerned student.
