  I have been coming here for a month at mma. It has been a very good experience, and coach Alex has taught me a lot. I would recommend Kaizen to anyone wanting to practice mma.

  Kaizen MMA of Fairfax is the most professional Martial Arts studio that my boys and I have ever attended. We have been to multiple different martial arts programs in Alaska, Georgia and Hawaii and nothing even comes close. The instructors are professionals and are active MMA fighters, truly able to teach as they practice. The owner (Sensei) trains right alongside his Sempai’s showing amazing teamwork and camaraderie within the gym. This type of pride in ones work is not easily seen nowadays and their positivity shines through every student that attends. 💯 recommend!

  Excellent coaching, community, and communication. I mainly focus on BJJ but have also been fortunate enough to attend Muay Thai and conditioning classes at this location. All of the coaches truly care about their students and go above and beyond to help in any way possible. With training you get whatever you put in meaning this is a gym that can meet needs for people looking for a unique workout to people interested in seriously competing. I don’t think there’s a single gym in the area that offers more for the same price. Highest recommendation.

  When I first walked in Kaizen MMA (Fairfax) I was extremely intimidated by everyone’s abilities which made me very nervous. I was worried I was going to be looked at as less than everyone else. But in reality everyone was nicer than I first anticipated. The coaches here are truly selfless people who just want to see their students succeed and reach their goals in their respective martial arts. They have made me feel very comfortable here and as if I am part of a small family. Recommend this place to everyone, beginner or experienced.
