What a lovely day! Wicked vibes, positive atmosphere added with some cool funky dance moves to go with its selective bantering which all goes well with the fusion of journey. A fruitful funky bunch to be with for all walks of life. So don’t be shy to say HI… First cuddles are free 😏 or maybe three.

Amazing seminar and even better atmosphere at the gym. Would recommend to anyone at any belt and can’t wait to visit again in the future.

Diego, Sergio anf Yaz have trained my boys for years now, and in that time they've built something really special — a genuinely safe and welcoming space where families can grow together on the mats. As a middle-aged guy who never thought he'd get the chance to train jiujitsu himself, I'm so grateful they made room for someone like me alongside my own kids. It's been years now that my 2 boys and I have trained at Journey Jiujitsu, and honestly, I'm blessed and thankful for the friendships and community that's been built around us. It's not just about the training — it's the relationships that have formed along the way, the sense of belonging, and watching my boys grow in confidence year after year. It's been an amazing journey for our whole family. Professionally, I work as a support coordinator alongside people with disability, and this gives me a bit of a trained eye for spaces that are genuinely inclusive versus those that just say they are. Journey Jiujitsu is the real deal. The team has thoughtfully facilitated an environment that's safe, patient, and fun for absolutely everyone — regardless of ability, age, or experience level. That kind of intentional inclusiveness is rare, and it says a lot about the culture Diego, Sergio and Yaz have built. Whatever you're hoping to get out of jiujitsu — fitness, discipline, community, confidence for your kids, or all of the above — this is such an amazing place to find it. I can't recommend Journey Jiujitsu highly enough.

Journy Jiu Jitsu is a fantastic club. Diego and Sergio welcomed us like family. They have achieved the perfect mix of family club environment with high level BJJ. Great for beginners, hobbyists and competitors alike. We love this club. Oss.

Before Journey Jiu-Jitsu, our family knew absolutely nothing about this discipline. We didn't understand what Jiu-Jitsu really was, or how deeply it could contribute to someone's development as a human being. My son Juan arrived in Australia two years ago, and about a year ago he joined Journey. Looking back now, I genuinely believe it has been one of the best things that has happened to him since starting his new life here. I often think about how different he might be today if we had never found this place. At only 12 years old, he has made great friends, become physically stronger, gained incredible confidence, and, most importantly, developed humility, discipline and self-awareness. The belt system, the respect for people of different levels, and constantly learning from others have taught him lessons that go far beyond the mats. Journey has also played an important role in helping him adapt to Australia and feel that he belongs here. One of the things that has touched me most is seeing how his confidence has changed. Juan isn't as tall as many of the kids around him, but through Jiu-Jitsu he has learned how to deal with difficult situations and sometimes bullying at school. Not by fighting. And certainly not because he couldn't defend himself. After the training and experience he has gained, I have personally watched him control and immobilise adults around 80 kg in training. But that is exactly the point. Jiu-Jitsu has taught him almost the opposite: that having the ability to defend yourself doesn't mean you need to prove it. He understands his own capability, knows his value, stays calm, avoids unnecessary confrontation and knows how to de escalate or end a difficult situation without needing to fight. To me, that kind of confidence, control and humility in a 12 year old is far more powerful than simply knowing how to fight. And then there is the Journey team itself. It doesn't feel like simply joining a gym. You feel welcomed into a family. Ironically, I used to think Jiu-Jitsu wasn't for me. Now that I train as well, I realise it may have been exactly what was missing from my life. I've done swimming, running, cycling, football and CrossFit, but Jiu-Jitsu is completely different. It challenges my body, but at the same time forces me to concentrate, analyse, solve problems, develop strategies and remain calm under pressure. Strength, cardio, mobility, coordination and your mind are all working together. I'm approaching 50, and healthy aging has become increasingly important to me. Having something that challenges me physically, mentally and socially at the same time gives me a completely different perspective on staying strong and mentally active as I get older. People often say that Jiu-Jitsu changes your life. That can sound like a cliche until you actually experience it. For our family, Journey has genuinely become part of our story in Australia. If you're considering trying Jiu-Jitsu, whether for your child or for yourself, I couldn't recommend Journey Jiu-Jitsu highly enough. Come and try it. The biggest problem might be that afterwards, you won't want to stop.

I started doing the kids and parents class with my 5 year old son and I think it’s a great class not only for the kids but also for the parents. It’s a good way to spend time together while building confidence, strength and character. Very welcoming to all newcomers and beginners, with no egos on the mats and the more experienced guys are always willing to lend a hand and help out. Also Diego and Sergio are very gentle, welcoming and great professors, especially with the kids and beginners. Great gym, great people and a really good environment for both kids and adults.
