I’ve been training at this gym for almost a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The environment is incredibly welcoming, with people of all ages, sizes, and skill levels coming together to learn and grow. One of the first things I noticed was how positive and encouraging everyone is. Professor Felipe is not only an outstanding jiujitsu instructor but also a remarkable mentor. You can truly see the love and passion he has for the sport in the way he teaches and interacts with everyone. It’s clear he loves being there just as much as we do, and that energy is infectious. I’ve also noticed the values he instills and the life lessons he preaches to the kids, he’s an incredible role model both on and off the mats. Professor Esteban and Sophia are also exceptional instructors, very technical, respectful and knowledgeable. No matter how my day has gone — whether I’m feeling down, low energy, or just not myself — I always leave class feeling better. Highly recommended!
I’ve been here for 7 years now and I don’t imagine myself somewhere else. Everyone there is amazing and my coaches have taught me more than I thought I could learn. Everything is nice and clean, and I always feel comfortable. There are kid and adult classes and workouts in the morning. All my time I spend there is worth it!
This review is by a man who has never been a part of martial arts or any previous athletic endeavor: I’ve been training here since April 2021. I chose this school because they were the ONLY place in my local region that answered my inquiry during the later pandemic timeline. A business that wants customers will show you by their actions. This place has taught me so much; more than just Jiu Jitsu. This school has taught me how to confront my fears, how to control my emotions, how to control my body, how to face "fight or flight" with calm calculation, how to have engaging conversations, how to make life-long everlasting friends, how to have a positive attitude regardless of what's going on around me, how to engage in voluntary adversity with courage, how to be humble, how I personally learn, how to stick with something that provides the entire gamut of human emotion, how to feel valued by others, what a strong community of individuals feels like, how (and why) to eat better, how (and why) to sleep better, and so much more; both on the mats and off the mats. This isn't just a Jiu Jitsu school. This is a home away from home, where you can escape the distractions known as life and learn more about yourself than you thought possible.
I’ve been training here for almost 4 years now. This is a little bit about my experience. I came in overweight, out of shape and full of bad choices. Everybody was very welcoming and supportive. I’d never been around a better group of people who are trying to better themselves and help others succeed. Joining JJ4L has truly been of the best decisions I could have made. I’ve accomplished things in this short amount of time that used to seem impossible. This is all possible from the help and support of all my training partners and Professor Felipe, Professora Sofia,Esteban and Ray. Their style of teaching and the attention to details is top notch. I’d highly recommend JJ4L to everyone.

My oldest started there when he was 4 and a half years old and as soon as my youngest was old enough he started. This has became a foundation for my family in all areas of life. The owners of the gym Felipe and Sofia are incredible, not enough words to describe the impact they’ve had on so many lives, especially for my children and myself. Not only is it an incredible jujitsu school, with world champions as professors, it’s so much more than that also. Highly recommended!
I started Jiu Jitsu 4 years ago at this gym and I couldn’t be happier with the atmosphere and culture Sofia and Felipe have created. Jujitsu 4Life has become part of our family. My son Brayden has excelled there under the teachings of Mr. Felipe and his amazing team. His wife, Sophia, and and son Kai are also amazing in their discipline and focus on jujitsu values. I’ve been going to this school on and off my whole life, I tried to do other things as a form of exercise but none of them stuck with me or gave me the same benefits as much as this jiu-jitsu school did. Probably one of the best jiu-jitsu schools in Coral springs/ in broward county. I’ve found that every-time i’ve come back everyone is always super welcoming and genuine. And truly want you to strive for excellence in jiu-jitsu, and in life. Id say this is the best pick if you’re interested in jiu-jitsu or just want to get in better shape, it really paces you making exercising enjoyable and looking forward to the next class. It’s great for everyone of all ages, they even include an aftercare program if you’re interested in that. :)

I knew jiujitsu was going to be a centerpiece in our house a few years ago when my husband started the sport. I just prayed he would find the right school and right community of people to do it with. Grateful he found Jiujitsu4Life and the Amarante family. I absolute love this school and the people. My 4.5 year old has been attending for almost a year. Not only does he love the classes and is gaining the fundamentals skills of Jiujitsu but he also loves all the people at his school from his peers to his professors. The kid will not miss a class if it’s in his control. As a parent it is great to be able to watch the classes and see your kid and all the other kids grow within just weeks of starting both in jiujitsu and in focus. I’m looking forward to seeing my son(s) and husband grow here in their Jiujitsu journey.

My kids have learned so much in the past 8 months than I could ever imagine. I've been a member of their all woman's fitness program led by Sofia. They turned my sons behavior all around 360 my son was having difficulties with life as a child for me and his father separating and when he came here, he became a total different kid. My daughter has been going to fights sports for a year now, so I feel like now I can write an honest review.They are simply great at what they do. They have great and friendly instructors, they maintain a clean and safe environment and are very patient with small children. If you have a child who has a ton of energy and can use some focus and discipline this is the best activity to get them into. You will be surprised at the growth your child will have both technically and as a person. Coach Felipe always says jujitsu kids are different and I truly believe that now. I cant wait to get my son signed up as well when he turns 5. Best money I've spent in a long time, the happiness it brings my child and me watching her growth has no price.
As a parent, you always try to find a fun, structured environment for your child. I am so glad that I found jujitsu4life. Nicole has been amazing from the 1st phone call we had about enrolling my son into the after-school program. This is one the best decisions i have made for my son. Both my kids have been in the after school program for a year and they love it! The staff are amazing and communicate very well. The price is fair for the amount they do with the kids and pickup. My kids will be staying for the summer and next school year as well. If they have opening for kids join!

Me and my son are visiting the area for an extended time and have had the opportunity to train at this facility. First off Professor Felipe and his wife Sophia are wonderful and were extremely helpful and accommodating. The facility is very nice, kept clean and a great environment. The technique, structure and push from the participants and instructors were perfect and top notch. My son and I are super excited to be able to call this "home" for the upcoming month. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by and checking it out as it will not dissapoint.

Hands down the best combat sport experience I’ve ever had. I was very apprehensive about joining a jiu jitsu school. Professor Felipe and Professor Sofia were very welcoming and let me do a couple a classes to see if I liked it. After two classes, I signed up for the school. Both Felipe and Sofia are extremely professional, experienced and knowledgeable. The classes are as intense as you want to make them. Wether you are looking for a good workout, learning self defense or training to compete, this school will get you to where you want to be. You won’t find someone else as reputable as Felipe and Sofia in the jiu jitsu industry that actually LIVE the sport and have incredible teaching skills, it is a privilege to train with them. I would recommend this school to all of my friends and their kids.

All the teachers were amazing! They took the time to really work one on one with the students to ensure the proper technique was followed. My Son literally went to school the next day writing about how much he loves Jiu Jitsu. The program is structured and spreads positivity.

As a coach of MMA at Mutant MMA in NY i searched for a good place for my children. And I found Fight sports coral springs. I was impressed with his style of teaching. Because the sound base is one of the most important things that you can give your child. As teenagers and as adults they will put the pieces together. And I’m a firm believer in keeping the children moving. Once you teach them then they should execute it. He saves the speech for the end of the class and teaches them something valuable for their growth as a martial artist and a person. Professor Felipe is a wonderful coach. We have been here for a year and we’re very happy.

What a great decision we made to enroll our son here. On day 1 we were met by an excited staff, both friendly and personable. Our initial observations indicated the kids were happy and having fun throughout their workouts. It was evident the instructors had great technical experience but also a unique ability to share/teach their knowledge. My son is learning a great deal, getting in great shape, and having a blast learning incredible self defense training. Professor Felipe is one of the best bjj black belt in the sport. Him and his wife works very great with children, their anti bullying program is very effective and rewarding. Furthermore even for adult they have a great self defense program as well. I’ll definitely recommend them.

Nice facility, everyone was kind, but if you have a very active child who needs help with discipline and guidance this isn’t the place, my daughter was given 3 days and then they took her out and told me to find something more “simple” like karate, but I explained everything about my child before bringing her and they convinced me that they would help and to give it time!! And the 3rd day they took her out, they knew exactly what I was looking for and what my child needed yet I’m very disappointed.
There are better schools in the area. Was here for 8 years. Left after allegations of inappropriate behavior by the owner/coach with the female students, moms/wives of students and more. Vet your school choice carefully.
