Professor Mike is a true professional! He really wants you to learn jujitsu. He breaks it down for you. I have attended the morning noon and night classes and it’s just a great environment for someone who really wants to learn. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! BRING YOUR FAMILY!!! YOU WILL LEARN JUJITSU!!!! I really could not be more grateful to have found this place and thankful to be here.
Posted 11 months agoRight off the bat, I'm going to have to give JJ Machado Fresno Jiu-Jitsu five stars. Ever since I first tried BJJ, I've been looking for a training environment that could replicate my first experiences in BJJ, and after many years of searching, I've finally found it here. The culture here is professional, welcoming and family friendly. Additionally, for me, I feel they are really trying to foster an environment where the students at all levels can learn and grow. It's their personal touch here, that you just can't find at any training BJJ facility. I highly recommend Jean Jacques Machado BJJ of Fresno to all who want to learn, or continue to train, but who want something a little more from their experience and training. Posted 8 months agoI joined JJM to give me and my 13 year old something active to do together and it’s been amazing. Since day one, they’ve treated everyone like family. From professor to coach to member we’re all given the same respect and there’s no big egos on or off the mats. It truly is like one big family. The kids classes are amazing as well. My 9 year old daughter was given the opportunity to try a few classes and she immediately wanted to sign up. If you have kids you should definitely come check out a class. My wife recently joined as well, now our whole family trains here and we’re not the only family who does so! Come check it out, challenge yourself and your children to learn something new!

I looked at so many places for a good jujitsu place for my toddler and something we can as adults possibly attend to when time permits, and I instantly loved it here. I really like how flexible their schedule is. You can attend any day of the week at the same time, if you’re busy or can’t attend on a specific day you can go a different day. In addition, the aura, the energy, the cleanliness, the professionalism of the coaches, the vibe— everything was what I was looking for. They spend time with your child and really teach them which I really appreciate. If you’re looking to learn jujitsu look no further.
Posted 9 months agoHighly recommend this gym! Started attending this gym along with my daughter and have had a great experience. Professor Mike and team are very knowledgeable and engaged in helping everyone out. If you want to learn jiu-jitsu I recommend you stop by and check the gym out.
