  I’ve been coming to IJJ for about five months now and I love this place. Professor Ben is extremely attentive with the kids and is very communicative. I would highly recommend this place if you want to learn the beautiful art of Jiu-Jitsu.

  I practiced here for a few months before moving and being placed on medical restriction for an unrelated health condition. I loved this gym and the instruction I received was thoughtful, safe, and most of all FUN! This gym is welcoming and respectful to women/girls as well.

  Independent Jiu-Jitsu is amazing! I started last month and everyone is so cool. The professors are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. If you are new to the sport or a long time veteran, I highly recommend you check this place out. 10/10!

  What a wonderful place with great people! I have been training Jiu-Jitsu for about 8 months now and Independent Jiu-Jitsu has made me love it! As a woman, Martial Arts environments can be intimidating, but here I have always been comfortable and excited! All thanks to Professor Ben and Professor Ricardo!

  Such a great place to train. Everyone is encouraged to train for their own goals, and people take care of each other. The vibe is relaxed, focused, and fun. Professors Ricardo and Ben share their knowledge openly and pay attention to everyone individually.
