Family! The best word I can think of to sum up our experience at Impact. The perfect team to help your child not only the skill of Muay Thai or jiu jitsu, but so much deeper than that. I’ve witnessed my child grow in self control, confidence and discipline. We are so glad to be back at Impact.

Try it out! From tail to head, IMPACT is a local gem. The curriculum is thorough and the people carry good family-business manners. If you join, be prepared to meet a better version of yourself! The academy vibe is a cool mix of team spirit & trust. The student body is taught in a respectful learning environment and the coaches are professional and knowledgeable. 💯 Amazing hygiene as the studio space is consistently clean. 🧹🧼🧽🫧

I was a student for a year at Impact martial arts academy, and after every single class I attended I felt my technique strength and fitness improved. Every class was perfectly structured and all the coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient and attentive.

absolutely some of the best coaches for your kiddos if you want them to learn a life skill that will improve their life across the board. I have 2 sons in the titans classes and they both have improved at home and at school as well. I would encourage anyone considering any type of martial arts training for their kids to pursue it in any way but ESPECIALLY at Impact Martial Arts

My son trains here 3 times a week. This place is awesome. They teach the kids discipline, patience, and respect. The young titans program is great for kids. I highly recommend any parent to bring there child here and train. It does wonders.

I wish I could rate much higher than 5/5 stars. I trained for about 6 months and my experience was nothing short of incredible. The staff are well rounded, memorable, and truly passionate about teaching their art. Both the staff and fellow students make every effort to make you feel welcome and safe while you practice. The atmosphere of the gym is unmatched and I always looked forward to training every day. I'm glad to have my introduction to martial arts to have been with Impact, as they set such a high standard for everything you could ever want in a gym. I regularly keep in contact with many of the classmates and instructors I had. I hope to visit again someday!

I have boxed for many, many years. In my experience the coaching is top notch, THE Best in the area, no exception. My daughter has learned things that are practical and that she will take with her. Has helped her feel more confident both mentally and physically. Personal training, meaning they pay attention to the students on an individual basis. Workouts are awesome!! I leave a session feeling good and wanting more. One of the few places that has actual sparring and coaches that provide real time, constructive teaching. Give it a try!!!

It is a truly enjoyable place to learn Muay Thai and grappling. I can say with confidence that training at this place has become my favorite hobbie, and that's saying a lot from someone who initially (before training at the place) just wanted to try it out for a couple of weeks and then leave. Muay Thai and grappling are fun, but in my opinion what made the martial arts so enjoyable for me were the coaches and the members of the gym who really make one feel welcomed, challenged; and satisfied, as there's a constant sensation of learning and progression. I would really encourage anyone to try this gym.

The people here are kind and humble. This is the best place to learn martial arts. The Coach knows martial arts and how to teach so well to the point anyone can learn from him no matter what background or skill level. I looked at other places before coming here and they could not match the caliber and expertise of this martial arts academy. What amazes me the most is how impressive and cool the people here are. I believe it's because of the knowledge and capabilities in the martial arts that they learned here to be one of the reasons the people here are so good-natured.

Great environment! Love how coach will is fun and yet stern with the kids. My daughter had a rough year last year and needing her to build confidence in herself and to learn how to defend herself and they teach her that in Martial Arts. The staff are great love how they encourage each other and the kids while still implementing new techniques and more!!! Love how they make you feel like family!

Amazing place to train for kids and adults. Coach Will and his staff are extremely competent at teaching muay thai/ kickboxing. My family and I love coming here and always have a good time. Even if you are just thinking about it come and give it a try, everyone here is very helpful with learning and catching you up on what to do.

My son has been to three different Martial Arts Studios in the Amarillo and Canyon Texas areas over the last 5 years. This by far and away is the absolute best. I have been a coach and trainer by trade in a different sport, soccer, and have worked in Amarillo and elsewhere as a coach with a private training business. So I have a good understanding of proper coaching and process driven training methods and Will is very, very good. He is patient, he is detailed, he trains technique toward mastery knowing how to give correction, he is good with kids, he has an idea of where the kid is at and where he wants to bring them. The academy has good facilities that are safe with personal instruction that is reasonably priced so your child will not have a problem getting lost in the shuffle and will learn quickly in a fun and safe environment. Adults get trained as well and from what I can see have a great experience also. I could go on and on, I am thankful that my son is getting the training he is from Will and I give anyone looking for quality martial arts training my highest recommendation; if you or your child want to get trained in martial arts I do not think there is a better place in Amarillo...period.

I would not recommend Impact for adults who may have ASD, CPTSD, or ADHD. I want to express that while I did enjoy somethings with Impact, like the sense of community with some of the staff and students. There were insurmountable issues I faced with the double empathy problem with senior staff that could not be overcome. Despite sharing raw vulnerabilities with personnel at the facility, perhaps my mistake was trying be real while also being scared AF, in order to grow...it didn't pan out. While I am grateful to the co-owner for sitting and taking their time to see me as a full human. I was unable to level set with the owner to make training conducive for myself, which lead to my departure. In all, I'm not saying anyone who has ND won't do well here, I'm saying to folks with these neuro-processing styles, go in train, go home. Leave the social aspect out of it - you'll do better than me, if you stick to that. The family is great, however, neurodivergent people can trigger neurotypical unconsciously, unless effort is made on both sides to bridge the gap. Outside of this for everyone else, not a bad place, pricey but well worth it IMO.
