  I have been training there for more than 2 years now, Igor is a great martial artist and an attentive teacher. There is a great atmosphere in the gym, laid back but also respectful. On a side note, the gym is very clean which for me is very important.

He spends a lot of energy and dedication in teaching and perfecting techniques, and in transmitting a true martial arts philosophy in the academy. It does not matter if you are big or small, new or veteran, young or aged. You will be lucky to become one of his students. And if it’s your first time, it will change your life, for the better.

  I've been visiting GVA on business for 4 days and was looking for a place to train. I found Igor's number on his website, whatsapped him and got a prompt reply with exact times of classes. Although I don't speak French, the coaches demonstrated everything so clearly that I felt like I understood every single word. I felt very welcome and a part of a family almost instantly. The guys are at high level, they're beasts and I got owned a big time but with every respect; they'd often stop and explain what I was doing wrong and gave some useful tips. I'm used to doing a boxing workout after BJJ class but man, I went straight to bed after these trainings - intense and great. Great people, i'll surely come back! ANd the gym is super clean and mats absolutely fab!!

  The maximum rating is 5... Igor Araujo would deserve a 6 star rating. I have never practiced BJJ before, because I dedicated my life in becoming an Olympic swimmer. I share the same values as Igor Araujo : respect, sacrifice, dedication, friendship, happiness and will to win! There is only one thing to say : THANK YOU IGOR !!!

  I have been practicing BJJ in a lot of countries as a constant traveller (Dubai, Shanghai, Taiwan, Lima, Tokyo, Paris, London etc etc), this is by far the best gym. Igor Araujo is a BJJ and MMA fighter with an impressive international ranking and he is a very patient, pedagogue teacher who shares his passion for BJJ and MMA.
