  I’ve been training at Hertz Grappling for a year now after taking a long hiatus, and I couldn't have picked a better place to return to the mats. Keeno and Florence have created an incredible training environment that is safe, welcoming, and genuinely fun. My first day was an eye-opening introduction to ecological training and the Constraints-Led Approach (CLA). Learning through task-based games and positional scenarios in live sparring fits my learning style so much better than traditional methods. Beyond the daily training, the community here is top-tier. I’ve made great friends, attended fantastic seminars (including Deandre Corbe twice and Arya Esfandmaz), and had a blast at the Summer social (bowling, karaoke, and arcades—what more could you ask for?). They also offer Olympic wrestling, Muay Thai, and Yoga, so there’s something for everyone. If you’re looking for a sign to drop in for a trial session or start training again, this is it!

  Hertz grappling is a great gym with very good coaches who are always helpful and knowledgeable. It has a good atmosphere where it’s supportive, welcoming and safe. I spent 6 months learning from scratch both no gi bjj and wrestling. Every lesson I learnt something new and could feel improvement and confidence in my abilities. Lots of options for classes so you can make them fit your life easily if you have other obligations. Can’t recommend enough.

  Excellent gym, highly higenic practices. Grate mix of expirenced and beginners classes. Really good gym culture thanks to the trainer's who are very friendly and care alot. Could definitely recommend in good faith.

  My son really enjoys this jiu-jitsu class and has improved so much over the last few months. The coaches are very attentive, patient, and explain everything really well. They do a great job of teaching strong fundamentals while keeping the classes fun and engaging for the kids. Highly recommend!

The culture is respectful, inclusive, and safe. In a sport where that isn’t always guaranteed, this gym has clearly been built with care. You can train hard, grow confidently, and feel supported — with tough training partners too 😅

  Absolutely thrilled with the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu experience my son has had since starting in September 2025! From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this husband and wife team are not only incredibly professional but also genuinely passionate about teaching. We initially booked trials with four other clubs, but after just one session here, we canceled the others—this place has everything we were looking for and so much more! The coaches are friendly, knowledgeable, and create an environment that encourages learning and growth. My son has absolutely loved every class, and it's heartwarming to see him so excited about his progress. Thank you for making this such a fantastic experience! Highly recommend to anyone looking to get their child involved in Jiu-Jitsu!

  My 15-year-old son goes to Hertz BJJ in Cheshunt and absolutely loves it! The range of classes from Muay Thai to wrestling and of course BJJ keeps things exciting and challenging. The instructors genuinely care about the students and always show up to support them at competitions. They’re friendly, encouraging, and create a really positive environment. The venue is also clean and well looked after. Highly recommend!

  I’ve been training at Hertz Grappling for about 9 months and absolutely love it! The classes are fun but challenging, the black belt instructors are top-level and super friendly, and the culture is incredibly welcoming. There’s a huge variety of classes all week, the gym is spotless, and they’re always adding new ways to learn and improve — it’s an awesome place to train and be part of!

  I’ve been training at Hertz Grappling for a year and can’t recommend them highly enough. Keeno and Florence are great athletes, very knowledgeable, and great coaches. They use structured, modern teaching methods and work on a theme for several sessions at a time so you can get to grips with it. Great facilities, which are always immaculate. It’s a friendly and welcoming environment with a great bunch of people. Lots of classes, including morning classes, and catering to all skill levels.

  Most classes are conveniently timed for after-work sessions and you can easily hop in whenever your body permits. Then there’s women's session, which I love and not many gyms have. Very chill and inclusive.
