Guardian Baltimore

Amazing gym!!! I have been training here for 2+ years after years at different schools. All classes are taught by excellent black belts and there are many other higher belts around to spar with and learn from. The environment is extremely welcoming and open to EVERYONE regardless of age, sex, experience, sexual orientation or any other factor. lots of gyms have negative, overly masculine cultures but not Guardian. they are supportive and helpful to everyone whether you are a novice, expert or in between. If you want to compete this gym will prepare you very well and if you just want exercise, the gym is still perfect for you. The space is large and growing with plenty of mat space, multiple showers and changing rooms. The gym is a nonprofit where adults, like me, pay a reasonable tuition to support FREE training for Baltimore youth!!! the impact is incredible. Come check out guardian you won’t be disappointed.

Great gym with great people, hard rolls, and high quality instruction!! Highly recommend for beginners and upper belts alike, for both hobbyists and competitors. Donations go to their non-profit youth program which is a great cause. Extremely happy to call this place my home gym for the past 3 years!

I consider Guardian my home gym whenever I’m visiting in the city, and one of my best friends trains here. The instructors are great communicators AND very skilled, and the vibe is warm and welcoming. You’ll feel at home whether you are a purple belt or brand new to the art. This, combined with their mission to offer FREE training to Baltimore’s youth, should be enough for anybody to want to come in and support. Love this place!

Amazing place to learn BJJ that provides high-level training while also being extremely inclusive and welcoming. As a woman, I feel safe and respected while having the opportunity to train with a ton of great people. Guardian is also a non-profit, so I love that my membership provides free classes to kids in my community. Excellent instruction from multiple black belts paired with a strong sense of care for the community. Guardian is truly a special place and I'm so glad I joined!

I've been a member of Guardian Jujitsu for a month now. I absolutely love the competitive but friendly atmosphere. Black belt instructors are very knowledgeable. Hours of classes are convenient and kids classes are free! Choose guardian for your family and friends! OSSSS!
