As a 30 plus year old bloke I wanted to try something new and completely outside my comfort zone. The free trail offered, allowed me to watch and learn then get involved. Would recommend to all.

My daughter started Grow JiuJitsu this year - it has given her great confidence and she loves doing it. The coaches are really impressive and have a fantastic combination of kindness and structure / discipline which is hard to achieve! It is the one activity so far she is keen to continue and we are encouraging her to keep going with it - we feel very fortunate that we found Grow JiuJitsu.

Grow JiuJitsu runs the best kids BJJ programme hands down. The balance between skill refinement, learning new skills but also the character building benefits and encouragement through personal growth are factors included in their programmes that you will unlikely see in most other academies around the uk. These are all covered at Grow. 10/10.

I initially came across Grow Jiujitsu when I travelled to their competition in 2024. In 2025 I met the owner, Natalie, at a BJJ Festival in Mallorca where she teaches. I really enjoyed her exquisite method of teaching, she holds so much skill and knowledge. I wanted to learn more from her so once home, I contacted Natalie to ask if I could visit her gym for a few days. After the 120 mile journey, the welcoming was incredibly warm by Natalie, her coaches and their members. The training is really well structured, the coaches are on hand to assist and I like how she breaks things down, this really helps as I am neurodivergent. My friend is a total beginner, she did the Womens only class. She loved it and said it was a really safe and nurturing space for women to train in, the music playlist was great too!! She also joined in the open mat, everyone was really kind and keen to help her. This is a really great gym, probably one of the nicest I have visited that ticks all of the boxes. What Natalie and her team have created is something I wish more gyms had. I didn't get a single bad vibe and theres none of that annoying clicky rubbish you can get at some gyms. Thank you for having me, I cant wait to return soon. For anyone in the Bicester area or passing through, I highly recommend you pop in for a session.
