Coming a various schools from NC and TN. This is a Great place to train no matter what level of experience. Jiu-jitsu is a martial art focused on technique and leverage where the smaller person can beat a bigger person.
Posted a month agoFantastic atmosphere! All of the instructors are top notch human beings and coaches. You will get a level of camaraderie here that is hard to find anywhere else. Everyone at Ground Zero is more than willing to work with you in a safe manner to ensure your succeed. This is also by far the most fun way to workout and stay in shape!
Posted 3 years agoExcellent training facility. My son started attending there first off the recommendation of a great friend and coach at Ground Zero. I began attending regularly after taking part in their Women's Self Defense class they offered in the summer. I began full-time in September and can say this has been one of the best decisions I could have made. Not only are you getting a great workout, you are learning a martial art that I feel makes you a stronger and more confident person. You can walk in and join in on the fun right from the beginning, there is no needing to wait for a specific start date, and because you are continuously going over moves while learning newer moves, you are never left behind. The instructors are fantastic, and never make you feel inadequate. Questions are encouraged, and they have no problem showing you how a move is done. They want you to get it right, and they want you to succeed. This is true in both the children's class and the adults' class. The other students in the class are also great to workout with and are some top notch people. If you have been curious about checking it out, all I can say is step inside the gym. You will not regret it.
Posted 7 years agoThe training is the absolute best.. Amazing atmosphere and clean facilities. They are very thorough with their teaching during class, going over each move multiple times before allowing you to practice it. If you have questions you don't feel afraid to ask them, they will help you in any way they can to make sure you are grasping the skills and concepts. After six months of training, I am completely hooked and am very excited to see where this takes me. Thanks to all the instructors and everyone who's helped me so far, I really appreciate it. Best instructors I've had in all my years of sports, by far. Don't be afraid to come try it out.
