A great gym full of great people. You won’t find any big egos here. Definitely a family environment with knowledgeable instructors. After class, we can stay as long as we want to continue rolling and training on our own. Classes for kids and adults, and membership allows you to visit and train at any Gracie United gym. First responders also get discounted membership, and I believe there are family discounts as well. You can also try it free with no commitment to see if it’s right for you. Can’t beat that.

Me and my daughter both train here and we LOVE IT! I started taking classes bc she was. I already love all the people there. Professors Joey and Tom are awesome! Definitely recommend checking it out.

I'll be honest I've never been here. What I do know is this. Christina and Joey are good people. The honest, real, loving kind of people. The kind of people this world needs more of but that you see less and less of each day. That being said these are the kind of people you want to do business with. These are the kind of people not out to make a quick buck or who wouldn't care about you and your specific needs. These are people who will sit back and take notice of YOU. Who you are and what you need, and they will move heaven and earth to make sure your needs are met. So give them a chance and learn more than jujitsu. Learn the difference from services provided from people who actually care versus those who do not. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing owner and coach very friendly! The environment is amazing . These kids & adults learn amazing skills , shelf control and what an amazing way to get some energy out, lose weight , gain shelf control and learn these amazing skills . I highly recommend it !! So glad to see Gracie United back in St. John and under the direction of Thomas Boeson and Joey Girard, two experienced professionals with extensive knowledge in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. These classes are great for men, women, and children of all ages. BJJ offers not only self defense, but also discipline, strength-training, increased confidence, and lasting friendships.
