After training at several sport Brazilian Jiu Jitsu schools over the years, I'm happy that I finally found this school. The folks at make everyone feel welcome and the excellent Gracie Jiu Jitsu curriculum sets training apart from other schools. If you are looking for self defense, the programs they offer are second to none. This is Jiu Jitsu done right.
I've been going to gracie for the better part of 10 years now and instructor Holmes is the absolute best. Everyone that goes wants to learn and see everyone else grow.
Not sure what took me so long 😉 Come check out the women’s empowered course. I was hooked before my free 10 day trial was up! Every woman needs to take women’s empowered. Everett, Jessica, Eric, and Martin are great instructors and leaders. They truly care about your success and the principles of Jiu-Jitsu. You will find a Support system, sisterhood, encouragement, and earned confidence. You have the opportunity to earn stripes and a belt and further your education onto combatives as well. Take the classes before you NEED the classes! See you on the mat!

Master Everett is such an awesome teacher. My 2 daughters started with the summer bully proof week camp and loved it so much. They are now about a year in still Love it. Mr. Everett and Miss Ashton make an great team. The program is well structured to introduce children to the gentle art of jiujitsu. I really enjoy how they encorporate teaching basic family values like cooperation, kindness, honest to each session. Definitely glad we found this dojo.

Love Ashton & Everett at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu New Braunfels. The atmosphere is friendly and makes training that could be intimidating a lot of fun. I recommend the Women Empowered program to everyone!
I’m gonna give an honest review, not gonna hold back. Coming from another martial arts discipline, I decided to see what all the BJJ fuss was all about. We’ll I walked into the right place alright, Gracie University BJJ. When I met Everett the instructor, he was so humble and did not pitch a sale. I took the schools free classes; after a few classes I was hooked. The instructors are detailed and helpful, there was no way I was going to walk away. I competed my free intro classes and became a student. My only regret is that I wished I found Gracie University sooner. I encourage anyone to try it, you won’t be disappointed.
I was only able to go to a couple of classes (ended up moving out of town), but I really enjoyed my experience there. Everyone there was very helpful, and the instruction was great. Highly recommend.

Innovation inspired by COVID. March 2020 Gymnasiums shut down. When they reopened the risk and new rules left it an impossible option. Eureka! Jiu Jitsu is rigorous, lacks meat heads and welcomes my children! Boom a new hobby with the breadth of discipline, instruction, utility and "Gracie"...get it? Now... I'm a lumbering 43 year old man and one not pursuant of confrontation so Jiu Jitsu seemed a stretch...ha! did it again. After the first month my daughter and I were hooked and we did it together. "Bully Proof" program for her and and massive dose of cardio, humility and craft for me. It's a family institution built upon morals, restraint and defense. I lost weight, bonded in my growth game with my daughter and joined a fraternity. I remember that hesitancy but I walked in and they made me confident, fit and humble. It's not a radical MMA breeding ground full of posturing aholes. It is sincere and I am glad I gambled within my comfort zone. Restraint within confidence is a rare gift to cultivate, but here it is taught. BJJ engaged my brain, and body and led to a better relationship with my daughter. Now I'm 43 and wear the Gi. Come meet the family!
