I highly recommend this gym. My two daughters and I train here. As someone who transferred from another gym, I can't explain how the whole staff has been kind and welcoming. The level of jiu-jitsu is high, and the coaches are amazing! The growth I have seen in my kids jiu-jitsu has been incredible. As a father, it is fantastic to see the confidence it has built in my daughters and how they even hold me accountable for showing up. If you're on the fence, give it a try. You will have a blast!
My son Braxton is very happy go lucky and a “teddy bear.” We knew the benefits of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu would help get him ready for the challenges preteens and teenagers face as they transition into adulthood. From Day 1, the staff at Gracie Barra Queen Creek have been beyond wonderful. The coaches have encouraged Braxton on the art of jiu-jitsu and how the sport can be fun and help him focus on problem solving. Braxton has developed the self confidence where he can face any challenge put in front of him. His physical, mental and emotional health have all benefited from attending Gracie Barra. The coaches provide a safe environment where Braxton and all of the students can learn and grow. We look forward to watching Braxton continue his journey with Gracie Barra Queen Creek.

GB Queen Creak is amazing! My wife, daughter, and myself are all taking classes and we all love it. If you want to learn self defense, discipline, and build your confidence I highly recommend signing up. The trainers are all very respectful and knowledgeable. No matter what level you’re starting at they help guide you through the techniques. I can’t wait for my son to turn 4 so he can start training too.

The instructors at Gracie Barra are amazing! They have a true passion for teaching and it’s evident in the way they engage with my sons. Initially my son joined a few months back and inspired our oldest daughter to join later. They look forward to the new lessons and seeing their friends. Thank you for taking us in! My youngest, 3 year old, says she wants to join next! The staff is super friendly! I’m so glad we joined!

Great caring staff. Coaches are always positive, great for beginners to advanced.
This place has been a huge blessing in our family’s lives, especially our son! The coaches are great and the focus is always on growth/development and not on “learning how to fight.” I love the camaraderie here, as everyone, from the coaches to the students, works together to help each other become better!
My kids love having Jiu-jitsu class. Sadly the kids lost their uniforms there, but they have been able to borrow one for class. The receptionist is very helpful and understanding and everyone is really helpful and great.
So happy we joined! Our oldest started a month ago and loves it. Our youngest can’t wait to turn 4 so he can jump in. Coaches are great, can’t say enough!
I can’t say enough good things about Gracie barra! It has changed our son’s life for the better. He went from being so shy and scared of other kids/new experiences, to making friends on his own and showing SO much confidence. Within weeks, we’ve seen such a positive influence on our family from this school. They are so good with kids & keeping them engaged & motivated. If you have any reservations, come in and register right away, you won’t be sorry!

This was an incredibly welcoming Jiu Jitsu academy. As a visitor from another state, it was amazing to see a new school full of great coaches, professional staff, and friendly students. I’ll always recommend Jiu Jitsu as a self defense and exercise source, but most importantly as a community. This gym covers all those point.
This is an outstanding addition to the Gracie Barra family. The culture this group of amazing people have created is unique in every way. The instructors, coaches, students and families have built such a supportive and embracing environment that it is not just a school it is without a doubt a family. Several years ago my son asked me to start Jiu Jitsu with him. Without hesitation I said yes because I was honored and flattered that he would want me to begin this journey with him. It only took a few moments after saying yes for me to start thinking "what did I get myself into". I had some doubts building like, "I hadn't done any athletic training in so long" and "I'm older now, I know nothing about jiu jitsu". When it came time for our class my son and I entered the door of Gracie Barra and immediately we were welcomed by Paula and Professor Lucas. Soon after that other coaches and students introduced themselves and just like that we both felt at home! Everyone had been so eager to help and coach us on techniques and giving us praise and direction always. The students, coaches, Professors and families all truly have the same goals for everyone which is to help each other improve and support each other in order to lift everyone up together. I am now 50 years old and Jiu Jitsu is a major part of my life and will be always. I want to thank my Gracie Barra Family and I can not wait to see all of the new family members of the Queen Creek location experience this very special bond!
The GB QC community has been absolutely wonderful. I waited months for this location to open and drove 35 minutes early in the morning to get to their sister school while waiting. I am so glad, and it has been completely worth the wait. The coaches are amazing, and the instruction is clear and much easier to follow than some of the other BJJ gyms I have tried. Top notch and my favorite part of the day!
Best jiu jitsu school around, hands down. You won’t find a more dedicated, passionate group of leaders. Their love for the community and sport shines through everyday as they step onto the mats, and their instruction is top-notch.
The Gracie barra jiu jitsu school in Queen Creek is really a friendly place, with wonderful people and very familiar, its teachers and collaborators are patient and polite.
This school has amazing coaches, and is led by an even greater staff of men and woman! The feeling of brotherhood (and sisterhood) and the extremely close bond everyone shares builds a very positive environment. I leave the mats every time with an overwhelming thereputic feeling. You’ll find Juijitsu of all levels here from week 1 to competitive black belts. No matter what your reason for wanting to join Juijitsu, you will find it here. Some join for the exercise, some join to compete others join because it’s cheaper than therapy lol. Come roll with us!
The staff is welcoming and the environment is friendly and inviting. We've been training as a family for over two years now and very glad we found this school.
The instructors and students are all so welcoming and helpful! I'm learning so much with every class! Also when you first start out you can come try classes totally free to make sure it's a good fit for you. I was hooked after one class!
My kids and I have been training at Gracie Barra for almost 2 years and love it. Everyone is family and supports each other. My kids are learning discipline and sportsmanship, as well as, training their bodies and minds for a harsh world. Highly endorse.
We've been training at their sister school (GB Ocotillo) and have been so happy since this new school has opened!
The sense of community is well rooted in all the coaches and staff. And this new school is BEAUTIFUL with plenty of mat and spectator space.
