Since the first day my kids have hopped on the mats at GB Liverpool, I have been dragged 3-4 times a week to take them. This isn't just a place to train, this is a space where Professor Aragao has built from the ground up to help nurture and support these kids. My kids have been thriving from the support provided by Professor and everyone that trains at the gym. So, if you're looking for a place to train or even just to trial. There is no better place then Gracie Barra Liverpool!

Gracie Barra Liverpool is an amazing community to train in. I’ve trained at different gyms, and nowhere has been as warm and friendly as Gracie Barra Liverpool. The team here are supportive, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and Professor teaches with incredible care and passion for BJJ. You always feel pushed to be your best here! Highly recommend for anyone wanting to start or continue their BJJ journey.

Highly recommended - A Place That Feels Like Home on the Mats Training at Gracie Barra Liverpool has become a grounding part of my week. Conveniently located inside Westfield, it’s easy to access but what keeps me coming back is the feeling I get when I walk through the doors. The space is always clean and well cared for, reflecting the respect this gym has for its members. Professor G is the heartbeat of this place—attentive, consistent, and deeply invested in each student’s growth. Every class feels intentional. Whether you’re new or refining, he meets you where you are and helps you move forward. This gym isn’t just where I train—it’s where I grow and connect with a community that lifts each other up.

Transferred from another Gracie Barra Branch and have never looked back. My son and I have trained under Prof Gustavo for 1 year now. There has been a massive improvement in our jiu jitsu. Prof G has attention to detail and his knowledge and approach to teaching is like I’ve never experienced. He has a passion for Jiu Jitsu and teaching. You can expect he gives 110% to his students every day. He is kind hearted, compassionate and loved by everyone. The new gym is spacious and clean with amazing family orientated atmosphere with exceptional training partners. There is an incredible group of women here who train regularly as well. So if you’re looking to get into Jiu Jitsu whether it’s for self-defense, improve confidence, mental health, competition training or just staying fit and healthy. Look no further, you will not be disappointed. Liverpool Gracie Barra is literally my second home. I am so happy and proud to be apart of it.

As a student of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and other martial arts, I've had the pleasure of training at various academies, but none have left as lasting an impression as Gracie Barra Liverpool, NSW (GB Liverpool). From the moment I walked through their doors, I was welcomed into a community that exudes passion, dedication, and expertise in the art of BJJ. One of the standout features of GB Liverpool is its knowledgeable and approachable instructor, coaches and students. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned martial artist, they tailor their instruction to meet your individual skill level and goals. Their commitment to providing personalized attention ensures that every student receives the guidance they need to progress and excel on their BJJ journey. The academy itself boasts top-notch facilities, equipped with ample space for group classes. The atmosphere is one of camaraderie and support, fostering friendships that extend beyond the mat. It's not just a place to train; it's a second home filled with like-minded individuals united by their love for BJJ. Furthermore, the curriculum at GB Liverpool is comprehensive and well-structured, covering all aspects of BJJ, from fundamental techniques to advanced strategies. Whether you're interested in self-defense, competition, or simply improving your physical fitness, there's something for everyone. The classes are dynamic and engaging, ensuring that you're constantly challenged and motivated to push yourself further. In addition to their regular classes, GB Liverpool offers seminars, workshops, and special events such as open mats, competition training and advanced technical training. These opportunities for continued learning and growth are invaluable for students looking to deepen their understanding of BJJ and stay ahead of the curve. Overall, my experience at GB Liverpool has been nothing short of exceptional. The sense of community, the quality of instruction, and the passion for BJJ are truly unparalleled. Whether you're a beginner or a black belt, I wholeheartedly recommend GB Liverpool to anyone looking to embark on or continue their journey in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
