Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, often simply called Jiu-Jitsu or BJJ, is a fantastic martial art that has garnered immense popularity for good reason. As a passionate member of the BJJ community, I can attest to its numerous health benefits and the sense of security it instills. BJJ is a martial art that emphasizes ground fighting and submission holds, focusing on leverage and technique rather than brute strength. Through regular training, practitioners not only improve their physical fitness, agility, and flexibility but also enhance mental discipline and self-confidence. It's a full-body workout that promotes cardiovascular health and muscular endurance, making it an excellent way to stay in shape. Beyond the physical advantages, learning martial arts like BJJ offers a profound sense of security. It equips individuals with practical self-defense skills, teaching them how to defend themselves in real-life situations. The confidence gained from mastering self-defense techniques is empowering and contributes significantly to personal safety. Moreover, the BJJ community is incredibly supportive and welcoming. Training in this martial art fosters camaraderie, discipline, and respect among practitioners. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone seeking a holistic approach to fitness, self-assurance, and community to join us on the mats. Experience the transformative journey of BJJ – it's not just a sport; it's a way of life. Join us, and together, let's strengthen both our bodies and our bonds within this amazing community!

Started BJJ about 2 months ago. This place has been amazing. The atmosphere and "gym culture" is absolutely top-tier. When a guy who's in his 30s and never trained before can come in and immediately feel like he belongs - not awkward and out of place - that's something special and absolutely worth every penny.

We enrolled our 4 year old son few month ago. I can’t even express how happy we are with these classes . Jiu jitsu and kickboxing together. Professor Kurt, professor Juliana, Andres and all the staff are very dedicated and very passionate about what they do. Another thing is the discipline. I noticed a big difference in my son’s behavior and attitude. It’s definitely improved. So it’s not only about learning marshal arts it’s about being a good person and building a strong character. Definitely recommend Gracie barra at champions! Can’t wait to enroll my second son too.

Professor is a great instructor who has a lot of experience, and truly cares about honing your skills. He can be a little tough on you, but it'd always because he really cares about you improving. Coach Rudy and coach K make the striking program really fun, and even tho it's a lot of cardio going through the classes, it always feels worth it at the end. Originally I came to the school for jujitsu and maybe some kickboxing, but now I try my best to avoid missing a boxing class.
