Master Barron is so patient with my boys… who need a LOT of patience!! He has made great progress with my twins and the best part is that they are applying the life skills he is teaching them in everyday life. I hear them remind each other about showing respect and showing integrity. Enrolling them with Master Barron was one of the best decisions I have made!
Master Barron is truly a Godsend, the answer to my prayers. My son was really struggling in school and at home. I began my search for a good martial arts school and I found a few online that I wanted to try out. Barron’s is the first one we tried and we did not need to look any further. He was everything we were looking for in an instructor, and he’s been amazing in teaching my son about character and integrity, as well as learning proper martial arts. My son’s behavior has greatly improved; we’re getting good reports from school, and at home he’s so helpful and respectful. I was so impressed I ended up signing up my younger son as well. Master Barron genuinely cares about helping each child with their individual needs, and he makes sure everyone learns the correct form and execution of every move. He really truly wants each child to be their best and reach their full potential. I cannot say enough good things about Master Barron and his classes, and I would recommend him to anyone interested in martial arts!!

Women’s Self Defense Class: Very informative and empowering course. Learned several techniques and skills for self defense. Would highly recommend for all ages. My daughter is 10, I’m 46, and my mother in law is in her 60’s and we all took the class and feel that we benefitted greatly from it.

I started classes in my late 50’s and have gained great benefits both physically and emotionally. Master Barron has unlimited patience and can work with you no matter what your starting physical shape is. I have seen his students grow in confidence, focus, self-discipline and respect while learning a true Martial Art. He also has had great success working with divergent students, whether ADD, ADHD or on the Autism Spectrum. This is a great school!

Master Barron has been incredibly patient and understanding with my 3 year old. I am impressed by his understanding of appropriate child development and expectations. She was crying the first day because it was over too soon. For my son, we were seeking someone who would help him gain his confidence and help him focus and Master Barron has helped that develop in just a few weeks. We can see the difference from day 1 vs now. There’s a great balance between building relationships and instilling respect and understanding that not all adults can develop with students.

Barron's Martial arts is an amazing studio. The instructor truly cares about his students and helps them improve and understand based on their skill set. Students have one on one classes with Master Barron before joining their group class so that they can be sure of themselves and have a basic understanding of the art. I also appreciate that Master Barron instills a positive mindset in his students. Even when a student is feeling down they know that they will get better and better eveyday and maintain a positive mindset. I would recommend this studio to anyone who wants to better themselves and learn new skills.
I would recommend this studio. Both my girls are enrolled and I have seen much improvement in their skills. They learn a lot and having Master Barron teach the students instead of another higher level student is helpful and something not all studios do. He takes the time and patience to explain the moves in a way that each student will understand. I also appreciate that Master Barron did one on one classes with my girls to make sure that they had the basics down before they joined the group class. The studio is great for students of all ages and I would recommend it as the skills learned here can be applied in all aspects of the student’s life.

Barron's martial arts is an excellent studio that focuses on the martial art and the bettering of the student. Students are taught to think positively to achieve their goals and have an open mindset. This is great in boosting confidence in the students. The students are not put in a class with no idea what to do. They have one on one sessions with Master Barron and are prepared before their first group class. Anyone can be a student regardless of age, there are students who are four to five years old, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens. This is an excellent place to learn a new skill that will positively help in evey aspect of your life.

Master Barron was my instructor for years when I was a kid. I’m now 32 years old, and my 4 year old son has been training under him for about 6 months now. There was no one else I would trust more to teach him the right ways to defend himself. While it’s been great to see him develop in that way, Master Barron instills more than just martial arts. I learned so many life lessons from him that shaped me, and it’s been so refreshing seeing that he still teaches my son the same way. He teaches discipline, respecting your parents, integrity, the importance of keeping your word, and soooo many more values that every kid should practice. I could not recommend Barron’s Martial Arts more!

My son has been training with Master Barron for about 6 months and we absolutely love it! I came across an Ad on Facebook and not thinking too much about it I clicked on “more info” within an hour I got a call from master Barron and we decided to give it a try. My son is 7 and in the past we’ve tried other sports to keep him busy and within a month or 2 he was over it. Not martial arts, he wants to keep learning and eventually one day in the future become a black belt. Not only is he learning to defend himself but also respect and focus.

Mr. Barron and all the other teachers at this facility bring forth an organization that bestows confidence, ethics and morals. The way they teach the children and adults is in a way that is easily comprehended, and with a calm approach that shows respect to all, but also demands respect from all. I had always wanted to pursue a martial art, but wasn't able to make space for it in my life until I turned 25. As there are multiple styles and schools of martial arts, I researched summaries on as many as I could and took some online quizzes to narrow down my results. I wanted to be part of a martial art that had a long history (and taught that history and culture), used the body evenly, emphasized building a good defense to use offensively, and was more about building the character to win in life in general rather than emphasizing competition and sport. About the same time I was on the lookout, I received a grand opening flyer in my mail for Barron's Martial Arts. After reading into Tang Soo Do, I did the last step on my hunt for the "right fit" and called Master Barron up for a consultation and private intro lesson. Master Barron sounded formidable and succinct over the phone and garnered my respect and interest immediately. During my consultation, I asked A LOT of interrogating questions including why he, a practitioner of multiple martial arts, believed most in Tang Soo Do. His answers were satisfyingly informative and humble and I signed up and have since inspired my family to do the same. Master Barron does an honorable job in teaching and inspiring character growth in each class. Parents who witness (or partake in) the classes will come out having learned another set of motivational speech that can be shared and applied at home. Master Barron has also been able to give me and my family guidance and solace in our personal lives, and we can't thank him enough for how much he's played in making all of us better and better every day. He and the others we have had the privilege to meet throughout our studio and the World Tang Soo Do Association have been pivotal in the boost of self-esteem and confidence we've experienced since joining. Don't just take my word; I encourage everyone to always do their own research. But, if any of my review speaks to you, give Master Barron a call and meet him. Give you, your family, and him a reasonable time to see if Tang Soo Do and his teaching is a good fit.
