I can’t recommend Marcelo and the Team at GFT Joondalup enough. From the minute you walk into the gym you are made feel welcome by Marcelo, his Team and his Students. Whether you are a beginner and new to BJJ or a seasoned practitioner, GFT caters for all your needs!
I can’t recommend GFT highly enough. Since starting Jiu-Jitsu, the difference we’ve seen in our son’s confidence has been amazing. He’s become so much more self-assured, both on and off the mats, and genuinely looks forward to every session. The coaches are brilliant with the kids and create such a positive, supportive environment while still teaching them discipline, respect and resilience. It’s been one of the best things we’ve done for him and we couldn’t be happier with the impact it’s had on him.

We have had our son attend here for around two years, my partner also attends and now my youngest has started. It is a beautiful family owned and run business, they are such kind, genuine people and take pride in what they do. They are so kind to the kids but also keep the rules and boundaries clear. I have witnessed them cleaning thoroughly, even to the point of mopping the walls! If you are looking for a great place to attend BJJ this is the place. ☆☆☆☆☆☆
I dropped into gfteam Joondalup while travelling through WA and it was such a great experience. Marcelo, Aline and the team were absolutely wonderful. There were several black belts on the mats, all of who took time to share their knowledge, and their ladies team was so kind and welcoming. Thank you again for having me!
I have been training here for just shy of 2 years , in these two years I have achieved things that I only once thought was a dream . BJJ has helped me hugely and Marcelo guidance has been unbelievable . The professors at the gym have help me develop into the best version of myself . This speaks volumes !
