I would like to thank you to our instructor Joe Wilk who served this country, as well as all the other men and women. “Thank You” Joe’s abilities and skill levels are just too long for me to list them here lol. The most impressive thing about Joe is his ability to work with me. I have ADHD so it difficult for me to focus on anything but Joe was very patient with me and treated me like family. I’m 40 and only 135lbs with messed up shoulders and torn up bicep so my confidence levels were very low before joining the team. This is week 2 for me and enjoyed going to classes so much that I’ve forgotten about my physical limitations and disabilities. Thank you so much for always believing in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. Your encouragement and faith in me have been a source of strength and inspiration, and I am truly grateful for all that you've done for me. Special thanks to Chris for your words of wisdom: Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. That will forever ingrained in my heart.
Posted 6 months agoIf you've hit a plateu in BJJ, and want to break through your old limits (or just want to start with rock solid fundamentals) you need to come to Coach Wilk's class. This is more than just another jiu jitsu gym, this is an opportunity. Coach Wilk teaches a complete strategy not just a random 'move of the day'. Plus with the small class sizes you get A LOT of attention. If you want mind blowing progress in BJJ, this is the class.
Posted 6 months agoJoe Wilk is an excellent teacher, motivator and coach! He is great at taking his knowledge and expertise and translating it over to a very learnable skill. His passion and personality were the perfect mix to move me through a tough workout and push me beyond my limits. I highly recommend this gym for anyone and everyone.
Posted 7 months agoI can’t say enough about Joe Wilk and his ability to coach and mentor. He is an expert in not only Jiu Jitsu, but his understanding of what motivates each student. He brings out the best in you and helps you reach your goals.
Posted 7 months agoJoe is a phenomenal instructor who’s dedicated his life to passing on the art of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He has the ability to connect with anyone. All you need to do is bring the willingness to learn.
