  Simply the best gym in New Zealand. Not only in structure but also in energy and teachings. Professor Cigano is an exceptional being, who teaches children respect and discipline, far beyond martial art. The gym environment is extremely familiar and pleasant. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to train or get their children to train.

  My daughters been coming to class now for a couple weeks and is loving it. She is gaining more confidence every lesson. The professors are very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is a very encouraging, kind and caring place. She has learnt a lot in such a short period of time.

  For anyone looking to learn the art of Jiu Jitsu, get fit, build self defence, join a community, or train for competition, GC Team is the place to go. Professor Cigano and his team have built an amazing curriculum and environment that caters you, no matter your goal. He has built a community of like minded supportive individuals that creates a welcoming and safe environment for people of all walks of life! I waited a year before joining this gym, and all I can say is I wish I had joined sooner!!!

  Training Jiu Jitsu at GC Team has been one of the best choices I have ever made. The coach, Cigano has always been very supportive of me and my goals of competing at the highest level of Jiu Jitsu in New Zealand and across the world. He is always there to support and encourage me when I have fights and is always there to support the kids who have ambitions similar to mine in this sport. Cigano's passion for the sport and the growth of the kids will be hard to come by elsewhere. He helps people to not only have growth in the sport, but personal growth too. He gives the kids a fun and enjoyable time to look forwards to as well as teaching important lessons of respect and discipline. When both teaching kids and adults he brings a very positive energy to make training a very enjoyable experience. For the last 2 years, I have spent nearly everyday training with Cigano, and my growth in the sport and personal growth has changed my life. Because of Cigano, I have achieved things in this sport that I never would've thought possible. I could not recommend Cigano and GC Team any more for kids as Cigano is always willing to do what it takes to give each kid a positive experience and help them grow. For adults too, he is willing to cater and care for each person and their needs and shows limitless support for the people of the gym and giving everyone a second family.
