I have been training at Fusion BJJ for one year and I am really happy. There are all levels of belts, making every rolling session a chance to improve your game. The teachers speak both German and English, which is great for us who are still grappling with German. The atmosphere is great, there is a strong sense of community.

A friend took me along for an open mat and I was blown away by how welcoming everyone was. Despite my low skill level, all of the people that I rolled with were patient and helping me along to become a better BJJ player. Highly recommend

Fusion BJJ is an amazing place to train! Everyone is extremely welcoming and kind. The classes are professional and everyone is focused on bettering themselves and the others around them. I highly recommend to anyone, no matter your experience level!

I am a Jiu Jitsu student in the U.S., and travel to the Mainz area regularly for work. I came across Fusion BJJ in an internet search, and Alex answered my email right away - not every gym is so welcoming to visiting students! Alex is a great instructor, and obviously has a long term lesson plan in place for the students, which makes him stand out as an instructor in the BJJ world. The students are friendly and enthusiastic, and the style of lessons gives the student plenty of time to work on technique. This makes a safe environment for long term practice without injury. Rolling is appropriately intense for each student’s ability level. I’ve seen more than a few gyms/instructors, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Fusion BJJ as a great place to train. If you are in the Mainz area, definitely give them a try - they are a great place to join the BJJ community.
