You can’t fault Hifen and Alex as coaches and Genuine nice guys. The atmosphere of the gym is great and that’s created by them and the great team of guys and gals we have. I’ve been welcomed to the team recently as a middle aged inflexible overweight bloke and I’ll never look back. If your looking for a new challenge and journey I wouldn’t look any further than Jiu jitsu and this gym 👍👌
Posted 1 year agoFortress jiu-jitsu is a fantastic club. Took my kids a couple of months ago for a free session with Alex. They both got on really well him. His patience with the children is amazing. Signed them up to start full time. Alex and also the other coach Hifen are fantastic with kids. After watching the kids for for a month, it made me want to start myself. At the ripe old age of 41. The club itself also has a great feel about it. With very good facilities. Would highly recommend
Posted 1 year agoVisited for the first time to try the women's self defence Jujitsu session with Liz. I found the environment of the gym friendly & the format is good as the mat area is separate from main gym. The session was informative & fun. Liz is warm, friendly, skilled & experienced. She was adept at managing the various ability levels in the session, to provide us with the fundamentals as well as what the progression of the practical looks like. As a beginner I felt the session was easy to follow & paced to allow for the practice time. I would highly recommend other women to try it out.
Posted 1 year agoAlex and Hifen are both top coaches with a great attention to detail when training but at the same time create a very friendly and homely atmosphere at the gym. The gym itself is a great space with all the facilities you need and more!
Posted 1 year agoGreat gym( mats and facilities) with such a welcoming atmosphere. The coaches Alex and Hifen are amazing at what they do, they are brilliant teachers!!
