I recently had the pleasure of visiting FightWorks Academy in Greenville, S.C. And I can honestly say it was one of the best training experiences I've had. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with genuine hospitality and respect — whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, they make you feel right at home. The facility was clean, well-organized, and had everything you'd expect from a serious BJJ academy: plenty of mat space, a respectful & a focused atmosphere. What really stood out, though, was the instructions. The coaches are not only highly skilled but also great at breaking down techniques in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. They paid attention to detail and took the time to offer individual feedback, which I really appreciated. The students there were also fantastic — tough rolls, but always controlled and respectful. You can tell the academy promotes a strong culture of learning, humility, and growth. Whether you're training for competition, fitness, or just to learn the art, this place has something to offer. I left feeling challenged, inspired, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended for anyone serious about improving their jiu-jitsu in a positive, motivating environment. Thank you to FightWorks Academy and the team.

We took twenty-one 15 year olds to a self defense class with Amber and the team at FightWorks for a self defense class. It was fun, interactive, and informative. We hope to go back soon! Highly recommend them for knowledgable training in a safe environment.

Recently started training at fightworks with 0 experience coming in. I'm in my mid 30s and have been looking for new ways to get out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. Everyone has been awesome and super welcoming. Highly recommend.

Trained boxer for 5+ years. First bjj class. It was awesome! Felt very comfortable and welcome, even as a first timer both at the gym and training this field. Session was made up of all experience levels which was inviting and informative. Highly recommend. 💯

Great Great instructors, very nice staff, great for self-defense and safety. Definitely recommend if new to martial arts or anything like that!!! Especially if you have kids, the kids class is definitely something you would want for your kid if they go to school or if they go alone places, and the adult class is very technical and actually very fun. I have been going to this Academy for I think over a year now🤩 -Loreli
