Posted 3 years agoI have yet to apply the commitment and time training shown by others but I can say this. The fiew lessons I have under my belt (hopefully more to come) have been mentally challenging physically challenging and absolutely fun. The amount of friendly (if not deadly) guys and girls that attend is great, and a good community / club feel is apparent. Everyone no matter how skilled is keen to learn and assists. The fines and effectiveness of each and every move shown and demonstrated by Chris though confusing at times is fantastic to watch. ( I dident know people could be wrapped up in such ways) However confused you might get Chris will always step in to assist pointing you in the right direction. Executing the moves he demonstrates with such skill will make you understand the commitment that is required on and off the mat. I can't really say much apart from don't brake the mirrors, keep dirty shoes off the mat and enjoy the best fitness routine and fighting style with a bunch of great people.
Posted 10 years agoComing back to Jiu-Jitsu after a long break and more pounds gained than I would like I have found Fighting Fit to be an inclusive and welcoming gym with some strong grapplers I enjoy rolling with. Chris is a good Coach and his passion for the sport comes across in his teaching. If you're interested in studying submission grappling, No Gi or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Stafford I'd definitely recommend coming down to a class.
